I am intrigued about Egypt having visited there a few times as well as nearby Israel. Having explored the pryramids of Giza and elsewhere, I find the area fascinating.

I love your book's setting and it sounds like a good read full of tension. By the way...the Ahab scene where his arm flops back and forth will stick in my mind forever. I got a visual on it right away. You know how to put the reader right there 'in the scene'.

I tend to have a painter or pastel artist's block. It is a matter of looking at the stool, it being the first obstacle, and forcing myself to sit upon it. Once I have achieved this, then it's on with the headphones and the music does the rest - I am away.
With writer's block, I am new to poetry and so far, I still have a large enough repository of ideas to draw upon.
This list is affirmation that we are all prone to a pen run aground.
