The Lustful Destroyer (Book) - 3/4/2011 10:09:56 PM|
Re: Annette Hendrix Williams.
This is part of the insanity of those who are terrified of going to some HELL, and so become insane with that thought! Perhaps the next time you reincarnate, you will have learned that ONLY a DEVIL would be so cruel as to let children suffer, with abuse, torture, murder, along with the atrocious cruelty shown to animals the world over! IF there were a God, all these things would be STOPPED before they even occurred.
If that is the type of God you worship, then you are scared to death of Him. You also know yours and everyone's prayers for world peace are IGNORED. That is your PROOF no-one is there, let alone listening to you.
Analyze and try to make sense of this putrid world we are living in, which is all due to HUMANS being made in the image of a devil, IF anything.
Arrogance and judgment of my life or anyone else's, is unbelievably non-Christian! I lived a full life, I survived and I have come out the better for it, with empathy and plenty of compassion. I use this energy to fight for good causes, sign petitions, and make a difference to those I can help. But, reading a man-written bible and constantly praying for help with no proven results ever, means those people need to see a psychologist.
You have prayed for peace on earth haven't you? Proves God does not exist doesn't it?
The Lustful Destroyer (Book) - 9/10/2007 4:03:05 PM
I want you to understand clearly that God loves you and wants you to be whole. Having said that, I think from the bio that you wrote about yourself and from this and other things that you wrote, you have a problem. It is called a spirit of prostitution and it has torn you from the family and happiness that you need. I can give you a website to visit if you are interested in being free. Type christianword.org. They have free prayer books to read out loud. These prayers in the book are so long and thorough that you cannot possibly say it without just reading what is said but try it. God bless you. Only Jesus can set you free. All others are quacks.

Ching the Big Tiny Dog! (R.I.P.) 1/3/05 (Short Story) - 7/10/2006 4:44:32 AM
Your heart in this write astounds me. Ching sounds like she was one of a kind, which reminds me of my dog who died in late 2000, whose final act was of love, to an elderly lady.
Charles D. O'Connor III- Check out my new and controversial story "The Curiosity shop"- many like it, only a few people don't and those people have brutally attacked it but take your true opinion on it. I know it needs editing but I have found an editor as we speak.
Ching the Big Tiny Dog! (R.I.P.) 1/3/05 (Short Story) - 12/10/2005 8:42:50 AM
Beautiful tribute to a special little dog with a gigantic heart! Well done, Donni-Jay; she will surely be missed, but this tribute to a pet is about as good as any I have seen! God bless you, dear heart, and Merry Christmas and a Happy, HEALTHY New Year to you and yours!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
Ching reminds me a lot of "Bert", a little solid black Pomeranian that lives a few streets up from us, but "Bert", unlike your "Ching", is a mean little thing. He had been abused, so I don't blame him for his surly nature! Still, he IS a cutie, and I can't help but to laugh whenever he barks and growls at me every time I go by!
Donni-Jay's Autobiography Excerpts now added! (Article) - 12/27/2003 8:19:50 AM

You helped me by just being a good and open friend to me!!
For that I thank you and specialy Paul for telling you about me!!
Thank You Donni...you are an angel!!

Soul-Mates do exist. I found Rocky! (Poetry) - 10/2/2004 2:04:42 PM
This is a beautiful poem in itself, but the most important thing is that you found your love. I never thought it would happen to me after 20 years of abuse, but I am with the man of my dreams.
The Trust of a Child. (Poetry) - 10/2/2004 8:07:36 AM
This is a beautiful poem, and I suppose, drawn from an experience. I read much of your writings, but have trouble reading from the computer. My eyes are extremely sensitive. But what I did read, I found most fascinating. I'll stop by again. Janet

Well Donni-Jay since you said “please,” how could anyone resist …lol. An excellent poem with direction. I thought no guns were allowed in the UK? Anyway I am glad I stuck around. Have an easy day. Thanks for sharing your work. Take care and be well.
Soul-Mates do exist. I found Rocky! (Poetry) - 9/26/2004 10:36:27 AM
Donni-Jay, this was one of the first poems I read of yours, and I have been meaning to return to it. The poem itself is well-crafted and penned, with a great message attached. I hope everything works out for the two of you. Rocky, I do believe you need your shirt on. If not, you’ll have all the ladies falling all over themselves …lol. Only kidding about the shirt …lol. Now I’ll have to go back to the gym, and try lifting my ten-pound weights …lol. I too was in a bad car crash two years ago, and the recovery has taken me a lot longer than I hoped for, but hey, life goes on. Thanks for sharing your work. Take care and be well.
Enjoy a good laugh! (Poetry) - 9/24/2004 12:03:06 PM

Enjoy a good laugh! (Poetry) - 9/22/2004 5:06:46 AM
Poet, this is the first time I’ve reviewed your work but, it’s not the first time I read it. I have spent considerable time reading your Bio (I am not nosey just curious) and some of your other creative compositions. I have found your talent is truly remarkable and it has been my pleasure reading it. It is quite obvious you have much to offer this world of ours, and I am quite sure I will make many return visits to your extraordinary Den. You have a firm grasp of the written word, and you most definitely are not afraid to weld your golden quill. Thank you for sharing your exceptional work, and I do look forward to reading more of it. Good luck and you better dress warm if you plan on living in “The Windy City.” It does get extremely cold by the lake. Take care and be well.
Unless you are in Love! (Poetry) - 9/21/2004 1:10:09 PM
That's quite interesting.
Sex and love should always go together - but sometimes this is just a stupid dream that won't work out.
I have lost my illusions and hopes.

I dream of seeing England one day.
Little Donni-Jay (Poetry) - 9/14/2004 5:15:50 PM
A lovely innocence. Too bad the people of this world are too small to accept and foster it over unwarranted fear. Courage overcomes, and so have you. I saw a black man give $1 million to a university yesterday, and promise a million more each of the next ten years. Now, that's overcoming![he was not an entertainer, sports star, or hip hop artist]

(((HUGS))) and much love, your Pom lovin' Texas friend, Karen Lynn. :D
I only have a Pomeranian in my imagination; her name is "Cajun Gold", and she is a little orange-red sweetie who lives with the fictional Sandusky family! Otherwise, I have no pets, can't have any where I live, darn it! :( If I could have pets, I'd have me a whole mess of Maine Coons or maybe a Pom or two! LOL

Unless you are in Love! (Poetry) - 8/19/2004 4:01:52 PM
Donni, you're right. Sex is just an act and means nothing unless one truly loves and cares about the other person.
Unless you are in Love! (Poetry) - 8/18/2004 5:29:09 PM
Thanks for this. Beyond any concept of morality I believe sex has an element of holyness. It hurts to see people depriving themselves from glimpses of genuine experience and wonder. Franz

I'm not hurting any more (Poetry) - 8/12/2004 8:37:48 PM
I agree with Sandie. Sometimes it easier said than done though. Try to say to yourself everytime those bad times come to mind that dwelling of it will do me no good and probably only run me down physically and make me sick.
Now I'd better take my own advice to heart, for I know I often dwell too long on people and events that hurt me.
I'm not hurting any more (Poetry) - 8/12/2004 5:26:43 AM
I agree with Victor on this one Donni!!

Mean Mistreater. (Poetry) - 8/11/2004 11:51:15 AM
baby you said it all!!
yes many can relate and just getting this out
I hope it lifted a thing or twoo off your heart/shoulders
Mean Mistreater. (Poetry) - 8/10/2004 5:09:15 PM
Donni, the pain in this poem is very evident. I doubt that an upbeat tempo would change the words, but maybe others seeing the song or hearing it will become brave enough to leave an abusive situation. It takes a long time to get over mistreatment. When you feel down, say a prayer, ask for peace and comfort, and then, remember that God loves you.
Mean Mistreater. (Poetry) - 8/10/2004 2:38:58 PM
Donni, the hurt is so tangible in this poem. I don't wish pain on anyone but sometimes people bring it on themselves. I am sorry you had to suffer but am glad that you were brave enough to leave.
Mean Mistreater. (Poetry) - 8/10/2004 1:00:08 PM

My Secret Saviour (an Angel in Human Form) (Poetry) - 1/14/2004 6:40:44 AM
A poem that brings gratitude to love and love to grace. It flows on the cadence of the beats of a sage heart that poemizes wonders.
I Salute You, Author-Poet Donni-Jay De-Ville.
Perseverance and love form the greatest ammo of humankind, and the catalyzer of the chemical elements that generate the energy used by the doers when they drive the vehicle of success on the road to winners' city.
Never rest Your pen; don't let Your quills dry.

It Just Aint Right says Donni-Jay (Poetry) - 12/22/2003 6:15:23 AM
This one is similar to the song I had written sometime ago. Please visit my song lyrics page:
and read about "Aint Got Nobody To Love". I wrote the songs in there, but I have no music yet. When I get my Yamaha keyboard at Christmas, then I will create some midis to the songs in there.
Please feel free to browse around my song lyrics page and let me know what you think about my songs. I appreciate your honest opinion.
Thank you in advance.
May Lu a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)
P.S. The front page of the site I sang the song, my friend KJ had done the background midi for me.

Tryin to Live With a Broken Heart (Poetry) - 12/15/2003 8:50:55 PM
I'm sorry that you feel such pain. I can only relate this to losing a loved one in death. You have to take time to morn the loss and then make new and better life for yourself.

Great write, I love your honesty TY
xxxxxx Take care
Tryin to Live With a Broken Heart (Poetry) - 12/15/2003 3:20:58 PM
I gather that the "you" in all your poems means yourself, if I'm not mistaken. I think your poems will benefit by using the first person as the main character, so that when the audience read them, it gives them much closer feelings if they can relate to what you say too.
Please don't be offended by my suggestion, it's just my own humble opinion. I've often use 1st person character to writer my poems, and even my short stories.
Good write here! Enjoyed.

Yesterday's Boy (Poetry) - 12/14/2003 9:14:01 AM
I thought this was interesting reading. "Yesterday's boy is tomorrow's man" -- that's a line you could have used.
Yesterday's Boy (Poetry) - 12/13/2003 11:28:12 PM
I think the wisdom is found in this phrase: "Yesterday's boy, taking a chance; Hoping for love, and not just romance."
I agree with Bhuwan...great lyrics!

When It's Finally Over. (Poetry) - 12/9/2003 11:21:01 AM
How long will the pain go on? Soon it will be better than it was, when you can find yourself again! It's so terrible not to be appreciated, no matter what sacrifices one makes, but worse to continue making the sacrifices and the mistakes. When there is no communication there is nothing! One sided love, I would never wish on anybody. Be warned. Get out before it's too late! It won't change no matter what you give up, or do. Goodbye my love.
I Gave You My Heart (Poetry) - 12/9/2003 11:13:57 AM
Sad poem, especially when it's true. Games, that's all it was and only in the beginning too. Strange how the games stop, once they marry you, taking ALL you have to give,(except your affection and not even wanting your love) making you do all the compromising and waiting for them to change back (which of course they never do) Being broken hearted is such a terrible emotional pain.
When It's Finally Over. (Poetry) - 12/8/2003 7:16:30 AM
Well said, a wise write.
When It's Finally Over. (Poetry) - 12/8/2003 6:06:32 AM
Sometimes we are so blinded by our love that we do not see reality.
I clung for 25 years. Now i am happy.
This is a very well composed piece, full of resignation and sorrow.

Dead Memories' (true sad story) just one of my songs, told as a poem! (Poetry) - 11/30/2003 9:27:58 PM
Wow! You look like this? How could Paul lose you in a store?
Love the guitar, it's a Gibson isn't it?
About the song, lyrics/poem. It was amazingly poetic. Very descriptive! And so very sad too. Hope this memory has faded and been replaced by much happier ones!
best wishes Larry. (Don't tell Paul I said wow!)
When He is not there with us. (Poetry) - 11/30/2003 9:18:59 PM
Came to see who Paul's wife was. Love the way you express yourself!
Angels..Hmmmm. I see that I am not the only one who believes in them!
But I would be so lucky to see one, or two!
Seriously, I think the Angel's would have stepped in, if they saw that you had lost the strength to carry on!
Reminded me of the poem about 'The Footsteps', when Jesus was there but the man just saw one set of prints in the sand. (That's when Jesus was carrying him!)
Lovely to read! Your poem as well, I mean!
When He is not there with us. (Poetry) - 11/30/2003 8:02:11 PM
I agree with Deb. I believe in angels, too, Donni-Jay. Beautiful poem, expressed with much humility and grace.

When He is not there with us. (Poetry) - 11/30/2003 2:42:25 PM
Excellent poem and yes there are angels in life that protect us. They have done so for me during ww11 and since. God looks over us and for what ever reasons, he spares our lives.
Dead Memories' (true sad story) just one of my songs, told as a poem! (Poetry) - 11/27/2003 9:11:19 PM
It is a lovely guitar Donni, I also play. Must say you don't look so bad either!
But getting back to the poem. Very poignant! The words are lovely and heart wrenching at the same time! Seems a bit of a sad story. Wish I could hear how the song goes.
Very descriptive words though, liked it a lot! Great poem.

Sympathy from Paul, (Not). (Poetry) - 11/25/2003 2:56:13 PM

I Think I'm Gonna Make This One the Last (Poetry) - 11/23/2003 11:27:40 AM
I think another song writer you should get to know is Peter Benson. He's a folk musician and writes gorgeous songs but when he posts them here, he posts them as poem, but you can still hear the music! I love your words, but I'm sure you can dig deeper within your soul and bring out a poem that isn't a song...hehe! Try it, you will love it, and then the music comes from your heart and soul and not just your head...I will admit, its painful but its the only way a good poet can write...Like I said, you are gifted, but you need to dig deeper then just the surface. You have to stand naked for the world to see and that my dear, is hard, very hard to do...
I Still Love You (Song lyrics) (Poetry) - 11/23/2003 11:23:07 AM
Again, wite this as a poem, not as a song. Your words are powerful, but the average reader will get confused by the stops and starts.
You Don't Need Him, (Anymore.) (Poetry) - 11/23/2003 11:21:48 AM
Okay Donni, write this as a poem, not a song. The breaks keep you from seeing how the words flow, and I think they flow nicely! When you write songs, yes, you put in the breaks with the notes, but in poetry, you need an even flow or as I do, write so you either slow down the reader, or speed them up if its needs that.
You have a good start here and I'd like to hear the music that accompanies this poem.
