The Acorn Stories (Excerpts) (Short Story) - 1/25/2004 6:30:15 AM
Thes were some great excerpts. Duane, you are a very visual writer. I could actually see the people and places in my mind, painted there by your well-crafted words. I will definitely have to get my hands on some of your books. Steve

Mark Kendrick Talks About Writing, Gay Issues, and Sci-Fi (Article) - 3/26/2002 11:09:47 AM
Surprise Mark! It's Mike! I really enjoyed the interview. Mark is a great person to read about and 'talk' to. His sense of humor comes thru. His tastes in books (as the ones mentioned in the interview) are all ones that I have very much enjoyed.

Mark Kendrick Talks About Writing, Gay Issues, and Sci-Fi (Article) - 3/26/2002 7:36:41 AM
Mark's comment about editing until your hands fall off and then continue with the stubs made me laugh aloud. It's so true. His advice to would be writers is solid, and throughout the interview his sense of humor comes through.

Interview With Ronald L. Donaghe (Article) - 10/15/2001 5:53:19 AM
While the whole interview echoed my own sentiments, what really, REALLY made me like this bloke was the subtle wisecrack about Robert Jordan and the never-bloody-ending Wheel of Time! Even if this interview hadn't been worth reading, which it certainly was, that comment alone would have earned it the 10 out of 10 that I'm giving it. You go, Ronald!

Fascinating, but don't give up yet. Ebooks are the coming thing. Try www.exebook.com for the latest ebook compiler that is shaking things up.

A fascinating article. I'd long since given up on writing until I discovered the Web. Now I have the encouragement and feedback to help me develop my writing, as well as more realistic prospects of publication one day.

Children in the Streets (Poetry) - 10/22/2003 9:51:24 PM
Every time I see news reports with children in them I cringe and cry. What have we done? What are we doing about it? This poem brings those thoughts to the fore. Powerful and insightful. Thanks

This is very good. I'd like to see the original version since I write mostly rhymed poetry myself, and I'm curious how you handled it.

Children in the Streets (Poetry) - 5/13/2003 6:29:06 AM
"Children in the Streets" is a social poem delivering a profound message. This poem makes me think... It just came to my mind that we have twenty-five million people in a strata below the Poverty Line... And this is in The United States of America... USA. This said to be the Richest Country incorporated on Earth. I Salute the Author of "Children in the Street". Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU

It's not 'Bareback',but still, romantic nonetheless.

Bareback (Poetry) - 7/25/2002 4:35:16 PM
This is excllent. It captures the excitement of meeting someone new in a club, and the frenzied sex that inevitably follows. Stark warning, and very, very good.
