That’s what I feel!
Love is a sickness
A burning deep inside
From which you cannot escape
But you let it die
Love is hate
Hate is love
What is love?
A white turtle dove?
No!!
That is what stories tell us
Though
We want to believe it
Reality is a fuss

Tender loving care

How sweet
What a snare
For when you’re caught
In a romance
The dragon’s lurking there
Takes it’s chance
Love breaks your heart
Love tears your soul apart
Into pitiful pieces
Served in a bowl

We should not hate anyone or we are hating ourselves, and hatred is mean and does not lead to anywhere. Love is much better if we would just stop and realize it. My mother used to say to me when I said I hated her, You don't mean it, and I didn't, it was just a statement when I got angry at her. I am sorry now I ever said it to her.

Having sex doesn't prove motherhood does it? and you explain that quite well in this write. It is in the heart, not the blood that a real mother is born :-)

And my birth mother was just simply that, just a woman who gave birth to me. She was cold, without love, or conscience. Then abandoned me when I was 12 years old.
I agree with JoAnne and Michelle too. IT DOES take a special woman to be a mom.

Thank you Ticara, for this very sad, but happy ended poem. I too have found my way through an open door, even though I still have issues about letting go. My issues are deep and my soul permanently scarred because of those issues too. Why does a parent give life, and then forbid the child to live that life?
