Carol, Your poem reminded me of the amazement I feel when I grab a prescription description and read about the possible side effect of different drugs. Makes one wonder when we even bother to rely on any. Every prescription should come with an anecdote for those possible side effects. Peace, Love and Blessings, Paul.

Most people resort to drugs as a escape from the realities of life. The is a nice exposition on the deceit of drugs.

Carol, I love finding a story in poetry and it's not easy to write. You have carried it off quite well and given me a giggle for the evening as well! I really enjoyed your work. Sherry

I hear you. This is an exceptional piece of prose offering heartfelt questions that are both thought-provoking and inspiring. Inspiring in that when you read these words, you will have to spend some time in self evaluation or introspection. I try not to live with regret but how I'd love to have a chance to do things differently and better. Wrong? I don't know. I think it is human. Well done Carol Chanti
