Yes, humanity cries, and all the pain is felt. Thank you for this soulful search.
SOMEWHERE HUMANITY CRIES (Poetry) - 5/11/2004 5:26:12 PM
Ali, the feelings in the poem are understandable; as is the desire for revenge. But fulfillment and retribution for what happened will not lezve a good feeling in the pit of ones stomach. It is a tragedy that we all think the same thing. "Vengence is mind sayeth the Lord."
But when the hurt we receive (for the dead feel no pain) or even know what happened ... makes us feel the outrage in our hearts, and we act on that outrage, we lose even when we win. It makes no sense to give the same as we get. The outrage and vengence is never good for our souls. It only satiates our bloody lusts. But being human like you, I would feel the same, and act the fool; for one is never wise with a weapon in hands to do mayhem with. Bill Murray

heart shattering write, indeed--the world going to rot for sure.
wasn't it God who said, "vengence is mine?" as humans, we're sure doing His job for Him, aren't we? sad...
powerful, thought provoking piece--thank you for sharing--

Some of your wording is a bit odd to me, but this is a good piece, nonetheless. I suspect that you will be a very good writer before all is said and done. :)
Art of War (Poetry) - 5/1/2004 8:52:59 PM
it's always wise to embrace our foes when they brandish no weapons ... and is wise confronting ourselves to see why adversaries seem so reluctant in doing so ...

I look forward to the time when peace arrives, and long time friends can be friends again. War is a great divider here at home.
