The First Pot-Luck Supper (Short Story) - 4/27/2009 11:02:59 AM
What an exciting and vivid story.
I am sure if the incident,'Jesus'feeding the crowdwith two fish,'were to happen today,it would be exactly as depicted in this powerful version.
It is simply wonderful.
I too taught (high school)until I took an early retirement in 2007.
I was encouraged to read that your writing income has surpassed your teacher's salary.
Much continued success

It is always refreshing to hear this story told through the eyes of a new character, it makes us think about its meanings and messages all over again.

Very nice. Its hard to believe that an adult wrote this. The characters really come to life and thinking how I was at such a young age, your depth of writing was so good, I actually laughed.
keep it up,

Losing a young freind (Article) - 9/29/2006 2:34:35 PM
writing is therapeutic to the sole, this is an article I think we can all relate to. We seem to be loosing young people more lately than ever before, the sad thing is it usually due to their lifestyle choices. Then we have those such as a wonderful friend we lost on the conair flight 5191 that crashed in Lexington a few weeks ago. You did a great job expressing here..

Losing a young freind (Article) - 4/12/2006 6:32:11 AM
I enjoyed this article. I know first hand all of the things basically that you talk about in this article. I have written several articles on grief also. I believe my grief process sometimes has been a continous journey because of so many people that I've lost. I also believe that we grieve for a lot of things that are not connected with death and I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Good job on expressing your sentiments about this important topic.

I do not think so while poems and articles about peace are great and I praise the efforts. But as I have written the terrorists no matter where they are will still come after you. Of course it takes two to fight but they do not know the meaning of peace. Were they to embrace peace would be wonderful. All it takes to disturb the peace is one word.
