An excellent job answering questions while at the same time presenting challenges with his answers. http://www.southernbreeze.net/tour085.htm should be a direct link to Nathan's work.

Thank you for another enjoyable article. It's great learning how artists view their work, what obstacles they need to overcome, and their need for business sense. Keep up the good work!
PROFILE: Collage, Spoken Word Artist (Article) - 8/16/2006 6:41:13 PM
Another artist I haven't heard about, thank you for keeping me up-to-date with what's happening. The spoken word is very powerful, I'm sure in the Bible it says the tongue is like a rudder. And congrats to Collage on gaining her Masters Degree :-)

K. D. Interview (Article) - 7/6/2006 6:08:09 PM
I am very impressed by this young man. His outlook on life and his career are extrodinary. I love what he said about "reinventing oneself." He is an artist in love with his work and believes in what he is doing, even when others haven't. Thank you CA for giving us the chance to meet the man behind the music.
Francis Ray Interview (Article) - 7/4/2006 4:19:30 AM
Thanks for posting this interview. I've read and enjoyed Francis' "BREAK EVERY RULE".
My only suggestion for your article is to check the spelling and grammar, there were a couple of typos.
Excellent interview *smiles*

SPOTLIGHT: Richelle Putnam Interview (Article) - 5/15/2006 10:36:12 AM
My heart is beating wildly with excitement as I read "SPOTLIGHT: Richelle Putnam Interview!" Even though as a board member for Mississippi Writers Guild I know the entire story, the progress, the opportunities, the Guild presents for our entire state, I never tire of more, more to write, more to read, more to promote as our doors open widely for seasoned writers or new writers, it's all the same, published or not. We are there as a support group in addition to encouraging creative efforts. I will mention one exciting event that has brought attention statewide. It's "Honoring Historic Mississippi Writers." The Guild reasoned, "What state can bolster a larger number of Historic Writers than the state of Mississippi?" We went forth with this one idea to promote Mississippi historic writers at The Mississippi Welcome Centers. The plan was for our members to select a historic writer, dress of their era, tell of their Mississippi roots (very important) and read of their written word, portraying, so far with others in the planning: Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams, Faulkner, Mrs Upton Sinclair and Muna Lee. We have a commitment for Margaret Walker, and others. We have presented this event at The Mississippi Welcome Center, Toomsuba (near Meridian) and will be there again on May 17 beginning at 11:00.....the concept is, there is always a fresh audience at the welcome centers...we know so many travelers drive straight through our wonderful state without a stop but maybe to a welcome center. We hope to visit all of The Mississippi Welcome Centers by the end of the year, as well as other events throughout the state. We will be in Clarksdale June 25 and later to Vicksburg (July date not confirmed as of now). We will take this same program to The Daily Grind in Meridian on May 20, The Coffee Bean, Philadelphia Ms on June 3, The Coffee Cup in Brandon later in July, all beginning at 4:00pm, open to the public with no admittance charge. All of your readers, please come on out to support and enjoy. It is our commitment, we think, as a Guild to relate our rich legacy of the written word to the entire word, and we shall!!
