You Can't Stop School Bullies Until You Stop Adults Who Teach Them How (Article) - 8/24/2008 5:01:39 PM
GREAT message in this; we must do all we can to stop this cancer of the human spirit! As a victim of bullying, I know all too well of its implications, even years later! Very well penned; this needs to be shouted from the rooftops!

Feeling Powerless to Help a Friend with Adultery? (Article) - 8/2/2006 4:43:49 PM
This is a good article. You are right on target. It reminds me of how many times inlaws take sides when couples are arguing only to leave ill will when the couple make up, which they many times do.
Feeling Powerless to Help a Friend with Adultery? (Article) - 8/2/2006 2:56:52 PM
This was very helpful. My sister's husband was unfaithful. They divorced, but were able to be friends years later. We did listen, but stayed at a distance. You are truly right about not becoming too involved.

Learning to Love Yourself (Article) - 5/16/2005 2:13:35 PM
Hmmm..I know who to share this with and I am copying and going to do just that!!!! :) Not in a bad way but, as Constructive Critiscm.. I believe in that with all my heart- I treasure the changes in my writing w/ comments too. I found this GREAT Joy.. and I''m glad I opened up to you. I am such a PoSiTiVE UPbeat person-Wom-EN... and I get bugged when I don't SEE or FEEL the same from others, even close to me. Life is too darn short to not beable to find good in others and things... and Time is of the essance, *( with all the rushing in traffic and all) but, the way I look at it. Is if it's meant to be, it will be. If rushing makes you late anyway, why rush and it usually doesn't matter all that often... I just wanted to say.. quickly, after I rambled on. Thank you 4 this- I am copying it now.. and it's a saver.. Others need to SEE it for fAce value and understand it better... all of it...Truly,Sheee P.S. I am getting you HOly Grail-Travel book... I like your inner feelings on things, and your downhome truth. OX Thank you 4 being you and sharing a part of you with US.

Now I like this article very much and it was very revealing what you said about criticism in that I guess the ones that have criticized me have some deep problems too. But this was a welcome read and I will come back and reread this.

Bahamian Morning (Poetry) - 9/9/2005 10:26:38 PM
Sis Marilyn, this reminds me of about three years ago when I spent 5 days at a writer's retreat at a monastery in Southern Indiana. The lake, the boats (all row boats) the mist and a labyrinth beyond a small vineyard was sheer heaven to me, and helped me write my first chapbook.
So glad I saw your cheerful face pop up on the front page of Authors Den. Wonderful to meet you, thank you for the memories of peace that I'll always cherish as a writer.
