Life Questions (Book) - 3/29/2009 1:27:03 PM|
This book (excerpt) is extremely thought provoking, and you are right;answering the questions requires gut level honesty, I believe, if we are to get the best from ourselves and life.
So much of what you have written reminds me of my life's journey.
I am glad to say that my life is what it should be because at various stages of it,I asked the right questions, and although the answers were not always what I wanted to accept, doing so has made all the difference.

Your Life Path (Article) - 5/17/2005 11:58:57 AM
Simple (best kind) and sound wisdom, Tim. I've believed this for some time--that life is not chaos, but that all happens with good reason. Even when the reasons evade us. Trust... that's a hard one to learn.

"Presents can never make up for the lack of presence."
Tim, what truth! In an age when we pursue material wealth instead of spiritual and emotional wealth, much of which subsists in the quality of our relationships, this is a most important lesson. What matters most, costs (in terms of dollars) least.

Legacy (Poetry) - 3/6/2005 1:07:14 PM
A beautiful tribute. I agree with Janet (and with you); to have touched someone and made some (albeit small) difference in a positive way; that's good enough for me. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis
No ordinary moments (Poetry) - 2/2/2005 11:55:49 AM
Exactly! The 'good ole days' are right now, this minute. I love this and have actually given this a lot of thought lately. I have a few lines/ideas for a poem on this subject.
Someone to hold (Poetry) - 2/2/2005 11:51:22 AM
You my friend have a lot to offer, I mean in the way of tenderness, something that most young men don't get unless it's much later, if at all. I'd go out with you if you were nearby as I am sure many will. Make yourself available to a good woman.
Wishing You all the Best! Janet
Happy Valentines Day

I too hope that my Legacy is that I touched/helped someone. This is really nice Tim. Your parents sound like they too left some good behind. Much enjoyed read.

You're absolutely right, Tim. There are no ordinary moments. Often, all it takes is a momentary deprivation of what we have to realize its worth. Thank you for the reminder.
