Life. Be There At Ten 'Til. (Book) - 10/9/2005 11:55:14 PM
I have to say that after viewing the websites for "Just Pray", in combination with just this small excerpt, I'm just gonna have to buy your book. And believe me, I'm a tough critic. (she smiles)

Ah such memories. After many years our two single daughters have returned from Australia and Edinburgh to live with us and so a family three generational Christmas next week. So after a few years I will fill their stockings with bits and pieces and respect my mother-in-law to dominate the kitchen as she has always done, because she always will and enjoys doing it. My time will come. Next year I will be feeling your words of wisdom more fully.
Merry Christmas

I agree wholeheartedly with your story. When we have parents we will always have someone that will love us regardless of ourselves. My parents yielded to life limits leaning behind twelve children. Each year we gather to place decorative grave coverings made of pine over their resting places. Even though physically their presence is missed, we share their sprit of the season in the traditions they gave us. I loved your story, it was a great read drawing me in and holding me through out. Your feelings of togetherness and belonging struck a cord within me that was buried. Thank you for sharing.

Nice write….found it very funny and interesting. You have a nice approach…I look forward to reading more of your observations. I never thought about observing carts before I read your work. I’ve always watched walks, talks, posture, gestures but never contents of carts. I wonder what Twinkies, Beer and K-Y jell indicate? I saw that at the IGA…At the Hardware store I saw a man checking out with a box of nails, four 2x4’s, 4 x8 sheet of Plywood – 5/8ths, a toilet, and of course TP? Hey, you got me started…

You snatched my attention with you title...I absolutly loved this write...you didn't invade her privacy..I don't think, or is it that I just don't wish to be made to feel that I too invade people's privacy as well, for I am an avid people watcher and oh yes, I too wonder about the odd connection of items that I have witnessed from other people's shopping carts! You'll have to read my poem "people watcher" I think you would get a kick out of it. Loved your write will be back to check out more...I like the way you think and write!
Blessings,
