This is one of the few recent guides for writers that addresses merging photos with writing and preparing a photo-writing package for submission. Everything else I found was narrowly focused to one speciality, or it was very expensive. Writing & Photography - A $Winning$ Combination is a great introduction and a chance to learn more about a very profitable skill at a reasonable price.
