I'm not sure whether I've already given you a review on this tale (or tail), but it's obviously worthy of another! I think this is a wonderful story, and I only wish I was young enough to buy your book, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy reading it. I too love writing children's stories, based on wildlife. My own book, which is actually based on a true story, is also in part told by the main character, a magpie, in his own words, so there's a mix of fantasy and reality. I have one or two children's stories ready for viewing, but here in the UK it's not so easy, unless your name begins with something like J.K...! so I believe mine will have to stay on my computer!

This is an interesting an beautifully illustrated book. What a wonderful way to educate children not only about beavers, but about attitudes. I recommend this book highly for reading from a third grade level up. From there down, it would be a great story to read to your child at bedtime.
