Unfolding of the Ugly FLower (Short Story) - 3/17/2005 6:21:20 PM|
Well you keep at it Martin and may you be blessed in all your undertakings. There has to be something for those that believe on him.
The Nudity of our Rebellion (Article) - 3/3/2007 2:13:23 AM
You have painted a picture with which I am truly familiar. My father was a minister and many time--more than I can count--he made people shudder to think about the wrath of God on a sinful world.
Well done, poet, and I commend you for having faith enough to write what you have.
My Boastful Glory (Article) - 11/15/2005 8:32:52 PM
Thank you Dove, This is truly an uplifting and very inspiring letter. Thank you so much. It's so easy to fall into the trap of society and I thank you so much for being here. It's very comforting.
Thanks so much for being You, my friend.

Next poem, I'm on a roll!!!!
PEACE WILL PREVAIL
YEA NATIONS OF LITTLE FAITH, PUT DOWN YOUR ARMS, MY FRIEND,
LET LOVE AND THE POWER OF HEALING IN YOUR LANDS BEGIN.
NO TIME FOR HATRED, KILLING, WARS IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM,
PROSPERITY, LIVING, HONOR, BROTHERHOOD WILL ABOUND AND TRUTH SHALL COME.
TRUTH HOLDS THE KEY TO ALL THE MYSTERIES AND SHALL SET YOUR STRONGHOLDS AND DEMONS FREE...
SO MY BROTHERS, MY FRIENDS, MY LOVERS TIL THE END,
SHALL WE UNITE AND DANCE AND TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME,
OR SHALL YOU CONTINUE TO MURDER, LIE, CHEAT, DECIEVE.
SURELY LOVE YOU WILL NEVER FIND...
IT A CHOICE EACH ONE MUST MAKE, MY BELOVED.
ALL CHILDREN ARISE,
TO SHOW WHAT IS INSIDE YOUR HEARTS OF HEARTS,
LOVE, FREEDOM FOR ALL
STOP THIS IDLE NOISE.
Be excellant to one another...

The War has fallen into our Hearts (Article) - 2/11/2005 2:36:19 PM
You have once again written a powerful message.
The Midnight of God's Mercy (Article) - 2/9/2005 9:16:23 PM
Your writing moves my heart beyond what I can comprehend...My feelings run deep because I lost my father a year ago Dec.5. I never had time to grieve and the loss is deep for all of us. It seems like he has never left but he is not here. My heartfelt empathy goes out to you for the loss of your mother. It sounds as if you are a man after God's own heart. I love the Lord so much. He's always been there through the good times and the bad. I'm breathing and alive today because his will is definately greater than mine. Keep writing such beautiful sounds to my ears. In God's love and grace. May peace be with you always. All the glory belongs to the Lord of Lords and The KING of KINGS...
The Midnight of God's Mercy (Article) - 2/9/2005 6:07:34 PM
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother as mine passed away in 2001. But I always cherish your writes because you seem to come in just when I need a new lift.
Printout of the Belly Crawler's Punishment (Article) - 1/21/2005 10:00:00 AM
Timely, sage message, Martin! God Bless You!
Printout of the Belly Crawler's Punishment (Article) - 1/20/2005 3:44:29 PM
I will dear Martin and have stopped reading those who say that there is no proof our Lord exists. Because they are foolish and then why do they try so hard to prove something that we already know is true. Could it be that they want to be wrong?
Put away the Sword of Dictatorship (Article) - 1/19/2005 1:51:24 PM
You write so beautifully Martin and always it is a blessing to read your work. Peace in the Lord my dear friend.
A Wise and Peaceful Defense (Article) - 1/16/2005 5:30:12 PM
I had to miss church because I slipped and fell but then I find this and have read with an understanding heart. You are right that a man whom God has blinded we cannot give sight to. But the ones who are blinded by the truth do not have it in their hearts. You do have the truth in your heart. Blessings friend.
Song of the Pastor's Love (Article) - 1/14/2005 5:13:16 AM
I am glad that you are back posting this. I often write essays for my church and some recent events brought me around to something that I should do. I wrote a essay on who ministers to the minister when he needs it? Thank you for your most excellant posts and remaining true to what Paul said. In that you follow the course, you keep the faith and you fight the good fight.
Resurrection of the Golden Calf (Article) - 12/23/2004 2:10:33 PM
I agree that Jesus did indeed speak with full authority but this season I remember that he too was love incarnate. Now my church is into the book of Luke in which Jesus was on the road to cruxifixion. I do see a time when those who speak or even read the bible will be put to death just as they were in the first century. I can understand your passion however for speaking the truth and often find myself at odds with these so called television preachers. It seems phony to build a crystal cathedral purely for the comfort of the minister and not the real teachings of the Christ. But I really do not stand on ceremony as much as others. Yes Paul also spoke with boldness however Martin I see this way that I am glad that he first loved me and really I can not repay him for that much. God has walked with me as did Jesus through the very fires of hell when I had cancer. I just hope you understand that side of me that is grateful but to those that speak with boldness yes I image we both have had ample criticism. John also called Babylon the mother of harlots and whoa no one but those who understand Revelations sees that and I think that is one reference you speak of. A different dove if you will none the less angry at what I see but some speak better than I.
Pleasing Patients of Correction (Article) - 12/21/2004 4:07:42 PM
Another really interesting write here and yes people will ignore it but then they have since the beginning of time. Peace to you this holy season Martin and God Bless.
Baptism into Blasphemy (Article) - 12/18/2004 2:43:05 PM
I guess we all have come to a point when we must ask the same questions and I wondered about the guy at the Crystal Palace.
Returning to the Serpent's Vomit (Article) - 12/12/2004 4:53:09 PM

The forgotten Peace of God (Article) - 11/17/2004 10:19:50 AM
You are very much on target here and write what some preachers refuse to preach. I am thankful for you and yes I agree. Martin you are so honest in your works. It does add some joy to me when the forces attack me. I take strength in your words.
Glorious Departure (Article) - 11/13/2004 12:03:54 PM
I had to do this same thing with some friends of mine rather I was more a friend than they. We turned them in because they were stealing from churches and every person that every tried to help them. I still pray for them but I have to close the door. He told us that would happen. It is tough but it is what it is.
The Rock of our Profession (Article) - 11/12/2004 6:41:30 PM
They should all heed this advice but there will be those that won't. Anyway I lay claim to my inheritance.

Amen it's always nice reading a fellow Christians writings
The Powers of Eternity (Article) - 11/10/2004 6:19:32 AM
Only those who do not know the scripture or believe in THE TRINITY will be offended. No sermon or lesson should be scripted it must come from the heart. I think that is what is wrong with organized religion. Preachers often preach what sells and not what needs to be heard. Paul said it best be bold in your preaching. It takes a long time for us to understand everything in the bible. So I am not offended.
From the Lips of the Vision (Article) - 11/8/2004 7:49:09 PM
I'm not really sure here but I get a message here as I read it as the terrorists and the free countries here and all that is going on today and that if we only do battle on their lands and do not help to rebuild and further into the civilized world that we should be ashamed of ourselves. I love this as it brings a closeness here to me to the true and Ultimate Peace that I and the world are seeking, THe Lord!!.
I hear His words constantly all day speaking to me. The lips of visions, I like that. I Like that Alot!
God Bless You.
This Journey back to Dust (Poetry) - 9/14/2011 6:10:13 PM
These are true words Dove and bless you for giving up anger. You can catch more flies with honey than with vinagar
Ten years in the Grave (Poetry) - 9/14/2011 6:05:41 PM
Dear Dove: Why are you angry? Sure life threw you a curve. You were unjustly treated. These are the ways of the acholic. It is
hard, especially for a child, to understand this confused mind.
I read your story in 'Visits with Angels' by Laurie Conrad, whom
I admire and my story is also in this book. Angels are sent to confort us who have like problems. You are on the right track. Stick with it but give up anger, it will distroy you. Forgive and substitute love instead. You will find my work under the above name on Authors Den. Would like to hear more from you. Love and Healing of Jesus who suffered so much for us. 'lil flower of Carmel
GOD (Poetry) - 8/6/2008 5:48:56 AM
I love what this poem says...
God has spoken.
He has provided us with two ears to hear.
But...have we turned Him on - deep within our souls???
The Ladder our Souls must climb (Poetry) - 8/6/2008 5:44:56 AM
A wonderful spiritually uplifting poem!
May the Lord be with you always!
Those days are Gone (Poetry) - 6/9/2008 3:55:47 PM
So sentimental a write. Says we should forgive those who go against and let them know it. It's never too late to forgive. Our Lords was a forgiving God too. We should be too. We are even forgiven for all the sins we have. I do like reading your all religious writes, we need religion more in our daily lives.
A Love that's not with Faith (Poetry) - 6/9/2008 3:53:08 PM
Great of you to reject a love without faith. It is great to know you are so strong and going the right pathway in life and love. Great Great piece of work.**********
The Hour of Beautiful Fear (Poetry) - 6/9/2008 3:51:35 PM
Judgment day is coming and many will be left behind cause they do not lend ear to his sayings and believe on him. They go about their own way destroying what is supposed to be and not even heeding the call of God. **********. Beautiful write.
Pictures of your Fears (Poetry) - 6/9/2008 3:49:24 PM
Demon, Demon go away, stay away longtime and don't come near. I have other things to do and must be about my Father's business. Cannot let you interfer with you trying to give me pictures of fears.
The love of Thyself (Poetry) - 6/9/2008 3:47:51 PM
I know how to keep the devil away. Just say Get Away from me Devil, I have a good life to lead with my faith in God. Butterflies are a favorite of mine, little spirits and some of God's secrets abide in them. Wrote a poem about butterfly on my site. Not afraid to profess my christianity and beliefs.

A compelling story in short space. Well done.
The Ladder our Souls must climb (Poetry) - 3/7/2007 1:24:34 PM
Angry Dove, you've done well with this and seem to really be an "enlightened" person. One who knows the truth of "things" and has moved to other things. All that has been given to each of us by God loses its value when you know you can find that ladder.
The Only Stones I throw is Love (Poetry) - 3/7/2007 3:25:13 AM
Good content in this poem. I liked it.

The Hour of Beautiful Fear (Poetry) - 2/23/2007 5:16:14 PM

To the Glory and Praise of Love (Poetry) - 6/29/2006 5:09:48 PM
I have to agree with many of these lines. Too often we assume laws are our passage to heaven.

UnWorthy (Poetry) - 12/31/2005 12:01:59 PM
Well, then, you in Christ, say for me "Fair well" to Jared the night robber, Bob the youth councelor/molester, Brad the insincere fiance, Jerry and David the killer dads, Bill, who just doesn't care, William, the absent husband/father, and that temporarily generous church organist who throws pregnant fellow church members out into the street. I'm sure their cross is quite heavy after all, as they must be worthy of their just rewards.
Affectionate with your Uniqueness (Poetry) - 12/31/2005 9:46:08 AM
A truly profound demonstration of what it means to live one's soul with the intent of expressing universal love in service to the divine. Your song reflects the grace that comes as reward for those who struggle to remain true to their higher resolve. Not always an easy thing to do but something always crucial, I feel, to do for spiritual balance in an unbalanced world. Your poetic voice sings in beautiful harmony Dove with that of the psalmist David. To you, my gratitude for shining and sharing the light of your spirit so generously.

When the breath of life is Gone (Poetry) - 12/30/2005 1:56:46 PM
Although I am a practicing Wiccan, I appreciate this poem.
"for it's much to late when the breath of life is gone." This is a great line, Dove! It is up to every one of us to breathe life back into the womb of Mother Earth. Quite a story you have to tell on your bio page, Dove! Glad that you are amongst us of the living. I'm sure you have traveled a long road. Happy New Year and a safe journey into 2006! Blessed Be.
Affectionate with your Uniqueness (Poetry) - 12/30/2005 8:06:56 AM
I think one's uniqueness is very important, as there are so many people in this world; but by knowing each one of us is unique in our own special way and by recognizing our own values is what makes each one of us feel so special about ourselves.
Good thought-provoking poem! I don't know how did I ever missed reading this one until now.
Thank you so much for sharing!

Give your lives to Love (Poetry) - 12/28/2005 1:04:47 PM
Martin this is so powerful and so full of truth it is not the money we try to buy salvation with that just helps the ministry of Christ it is the timeless prayers and endles love we show that makes this powerful witness to the world your pen awakens and inspires this poet too and perhaps humanity will see beyond blindness also.
Stay strong ,

Cain is killing Abel in the Music of Today (Poetry) - 11/17/2005 4:06:05 PM
Yes Dear Dove. This sadly seems true!
'...Men are killing men with words
that we have no right to say.
Teaching kids to destroy
the hope of love, and peace for all...
That Cain is killing Abel through the music of today.'
And again it true ... 'Seeing as how I speak the truth
It won't be received by the masses'
Thank you for writing poems with messages that need to be heard!

Baptised into becoming a Rapist (Poetry) - 4/2/2005 5:11:54 PM
Your premise has too many fallacies, and doesn't follow any sound logic, but you have written an entertaining story, even if I have to agree with the others here: if someone became/becomes a rapist, it has nothing whatsoever to do with masturbation - if so, then 99.99% of men would be rapists. No, this person has many underlying problems that would lead him to rape, but masturbation is not at all part of the cause - actually, it's probably just the opposite: to me, it seems that if someone achieves release through masturbation, then he will be LESS likely to rape.
Now, if his parents continually harped on him about how EVIL masturbation is, then that could be [part] of an underlying cause. But I'll have to agree with Sue: masturbation is completely natural -- Jeff
Baptised into becoming a Rapist (Poetry) - 4/1/2005 8:01:47 PM
well written but the concept is a bit unrealisitc ...
Baptised into becoming a Rapist (Poetry) - 4/1/2005 10:11:55 AM
oh come on, masturbation doesn't lead to rape...this is well written and i will probably be called an idiot again but young people 'discovering themself' is completely natural

Your works are always beautiful. I may have to stop writing for a bit until I can get things calmed down here. I write to release the stress that sometimes builds inside of me but it is causing trouble on the homefront because my family doesn't understand. They take it too literal. To me it is my art. I will check occassionally but carry on my friend.

Pride cometh before a Fall (Poetry) - 3/21/2005 2:51:34 PM
yes, i agree with edwin, pride in ones accomplishments, if taken with a dose of humility, can certainly do no harm, but arrogance definately leads to a fall. i think it is all in how the word pride is defined
Pride cometh before a Fall (Poetry) - 3/21/2005 2:28:24 PM
Interesting write. I believe the problem with many is their lack of pride...However, Arrogance is another matter...there is a big difference between the two...

A Cigarette and Sixty Dimes (Poetry) - 1/24/2005 8:04:01 PM

A Cigarette and Sixty Dimes (Poetry) - 1/24/2005 2:55:38 PM
Reality at times, is easier to avoid then look at. Homelessness and basic survival, is an art, which we judge harshly.
A Cigarette and Sixty Dimes (Poetry) - 1/24/2005 2:52:53 PM

Whores on the Mountain (Poetry) - 12/23/2004 7:04:59 AM
Personally I would have to say this time that you should remember the real reason for the season. I am not quite sure this time Martin that Jesus himself would want this point of view. What did he come to teach us. Peace however in his name.

Bridge between my 2 Worlds (Poetry) - 11/26/2004 6:54:38 PM
There is much truth in your words, with God in our lives we can overcome any and all adversity. I do not accept people's excuses that because they had an unhappy childhood or had a hard life it is to be used as an excuse to act out and hate/blame the world. We should learn from all that we are subjected to in this world and always keep our faith in our Heavenly Father. ~Z~

The Books above the Clouds (Poetry) - 11/16/2004 8:47:18 AM
In Luke it is written that which is done in darkness shall be brought to life and that which is whispered will be heard. I have known arrogant people that felt that he would not be held accountable to God for his sins. I think he found out when he died that he would be. Yes I know I will but I have a defense attorney by the name of Jesus.
