Very nice. I like poems that are loaded with imagery and this one certainly is. Burke's Hollow Plums is also loaded with double entendres which I love.

So very nicely done, Diana. Believe it or not, I have pulled corn and thrown it kathump against the sideboard of the old horse-drawn wagon. And not just as a lark, either. That's the way we did it for several years.

Excellent poem, Diana. It is superbly beautiful in its imagery and flow. I'm not familiar with "expotential." Can't find it in my dictionary but it sounds like someone itching for a divorce. LOL
