For anyone interested in meditation, or even for those who have already embarked on a meditation program, Ram Varma's 'This Splendid World of Yours' is highly recommended.
The author has had many years of experience and is a facilitator in both meditation and self-empowerment techniques in Totonto, Canada. This title is not only informative and educational, but is a hands on interactive guide for anyone seeking self-knowledge and self-empowerment in their daily lives as well as the deeper levels of spiritual unfolding and enlightenment.
'This Splendid World of Yours,' is not the kind of book that you will read and then forget on your bookshelf. Rather it is the kind of book you will keep and refer to again and again. The meditation techniques and strategies are clearly laid out and easy to understand. If meditation, self-knowledge, self-empowerment and connecting with your inner spirit is the path you have chosen to follow, then this title is a 'must have' kind of book.

This is a very good article and is the true essence of spirituality. One should always respond rather than react and this article aids the process.

The whole article is very knoweldgeable except for one point. IF you are a severe job misfit, there is no point meditating for one hour in the morning followed by 10 hours of misery. There is no mention of mantra either. Otherwise a very informative article.

Let go, Surrender or acceptance has great value if you are able to practice it correctly which is easier said than done. A convincing write up.

A very interesting article.No less an authority than Segmund Freud has stated that intution is necessary for major decisions in life like finding your vocation. Even industrialists make decisions on intution rather than logic. A great write.
