Find my way (Poetry) - 5/3/2010 9:11:23 PM
This is very sad Pamela...my thoughts and prayers are with you. But know from someone that has learned that even though I question why my life had to take the turn it did, I still believe with all of my heart that God through His son Jesus will guide you and make sure you and your children are safe. Go with God Pam, because He and all of us here at the den go with you. May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. today (Poetry) - 4/28/2009 8:45:21 AM
I can relate as well. This was written in a hurry Pamela because there are typos and word omisions throughout the poem. But I could read through them in this fast paced, emotional ride through your heart. This should be sent to every women's, mens', and teen magazines because it has a very important message to tell. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Nothing I could do (Poetry) - 2/6/2009 9:52:16 PM
One of the challenges of life is accepting that life is not fair. Some things we get that we don't deserve and other things we have earned are never shared. Dear Pamela--and others--I invite you to visit my den site to enjoy my posting of the Article slideshow: "Lebensweisheiten." (Wisdoms of Life) Your friend, Richard

Nothing I could do (Poetry) - 10/16/2008 8:49:10 PM
I like this, Pam. It is easy flowing, and easy to follow. There is emotional feelings here that pour out to the reader, and the images I see here are ones of looking into his face once more and seeing his gaunt expression of fear and sadeness. That is what I get from this, and of course if someone decides not to speak to us again, what can we do? What are we supposed to do? Nothing, because if someone decided not to speak to me again, I would simply ignore them. It took me many years to relaize this, because my sisters have decided not to speak to me, or have me in their lives. You wrote this one very well, Pam. Thank you for sharing.

A message from Heaven to my family (Poetry) - 9/9/2008 2:38:42 PM
This is a universal them in this world, Pamela. Sad but true. I only have my immediate family here since all of my extended family is in France. I have heard many stories, however. Thank you. I hope you are well and happy. Love and best wishes, Regis

Why do you treat me this way? (Poetry) - 8/25/2008 8:21:11 AM
The love we have for someone is like a fleeting shadow in the night. Thank you for sharing. forgotten (Poetry) - 7/11/2008 9:03:22 PM
Many times our children leave the nest and forget where they came from. Whether they do this purposely or because they just let time slip away, whose to say, well unless the son or daughter comes right out and says so. Otherwise there is still hope they will find their way back for a visit on Christmas, Fourth of July, Spring Break, Birthdays, or even just a visit here and there. Thank you for sharing Pamela, and as Regis said, this goes right to the soul. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world peae on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Poision (Poetry) - 5/26/2008 8:25:40 AM
Pamela. You must simply realize that the healing is from within you. I know these are only words because I've not learned how to do that. I feel your pain. I send you love and my best wishes, Regis

Poision (Poetry) - 5/18/2008 2:00:22 PM
I know exactly what you mean Pam. I am ending a very short marriage of over just a year, because my spouse wants to control my every move, my very thoughts, and use me the way she would a slave. My anger is seething, and right now I am making plans to be back in the states the first few days of June, because that is when I will have the money to get the ticket. We can all relate to these words in some way Pam. You have written this with emotion, heart, and soul. Thank you for sharing. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

My dearest friend (Poetry) - 3/31/2008 4:36:52 PM
I agree with Tinka. A friend can ask for no more than the love one has in the heart. When the love for a friend comes from the heart, the friend is true. We can never have too many friends, but, we seem to be only able to catch at least one true friend. Thank you for sharing Pam. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), little sister, Barbie

How? (Poetry) - 8/26/2007 9:58:00 AM
I can identify Pamela, more so than I care to. This is a strong poem of emotions that we fight every day. Why can't I scream, why can't I cry, why can't I laugh, or just even smile? These questions are never really answered, but in time we find ourselves in the clearing, and home. I hope this is what it can be like for you, that these shadows will find someone else to pick on, and you will come to the clearing and see your way home. Thank you for sharing, Pamela, you brought back a lot of memories when I asked these very same questions, and not so long ago.

How? (Poetry) - 8/25/2007 8:28:02 PM
I know that feeling all to well. Sometimes the feeling is so intense, I've felt like I'm about to explode. Fortunately, I have a couple of really, really good friends that I can share what I don't dare share with most people. They're a good sounding board. Lord knows I'd hate to let some people have even a glimpse of my emotions - they wouldn't understand nor empathize. Keep your chin up and keep writing [for me it helps] - Kathy

How? (Poetry) - 8/25/2007 7:23:30 PM

Stop for a moment (Poetry) - 5/17/2007 9:42:18 AM
Hello Pamela, Please forgive me, but as I read your poem, I stopped thinking of it as a poem and more of a rap song as I read into the imaginary lyrics. And I think it would make a bloody great rap song, even though i'm not into that sort of music. Maybe you should try contacting M & M and offer him some new material. Well done, 10/10.

I saw you today (Poetry) - 5/13/2007 1:02:14 PM

Paper Roses (Poetry) - 5/8/2007 3:39:03 AM

Stop for a moment (Poetry) - 4/27/2007 3:06:49 AM
I agree with your thoughts that the pain from the problems we face teach us many lessons. Your poem captures that idea well.

Prison Gates (Poetry) - 4/23/2007 6:41:32 AM
I was checking out your bio, and saw this poem. With my step-grandmother in prison for the second time, this one caught my eye. You've written a good poem that seems to catch the heartfelt feelings of the one behind bars. How sad for them to throw good sense to the winds and have to lose a year of living a free and productive life. They need our prayers, that God will redeem the time and reach them where they are.

Stop for a moment (Poetry) - 4/22/2007 1:03:49 PM
A most inspiring poem!! It is full of feelings and spoken in a voice of truth and sincerity. Truly enjoyed!

Yes, sometimes the sting stays a very long time. It takes strength and faith in God to move forward and let the past remain in the past where it belongs. Interesting write. Be safe, Karen

God Bless those who care!! Love Tinka

In my shoes (Poetry) - 1/7/2007 3:40:01 PM
No one, not a soul, knows what another walks during the day! I know many days a false face covered mine but through the grace of God, I survived to smile again.

In my shoes (Poetry) - 1/6/2007 5:20:47 PM
What a heartfelt write, the title of this write was very compelling for me as I have just spoken the very words to a friend the other day, if only they could walk a mile in my shoes they would understand...I think the best advice is until we walk in their shoes don't speak negatively about anyone for we really do not know. It is easy to say I wouldn't or I would do this or that, we truely do not know until we have lived their experience. Very powerful write, the only thing that I will add is as long as we have breath their is hope, hope is faith, faith is believing in something unseen...have faith my friend and look up, God understands when humans do not! Blessings hope things get better, Joyce Bowling

In my shoes (Poetry) - 1/6/2007 12:44:51 PM

In my shoes (Poetry) - 1/6/2007 10:53:19 AM

If I can get through this my emotions will be fine And it'll keep my from loseing my mind. For sure Pamela, and I agree with Tinka too. Chin Up Girl!! Because there is a nice site that I sent you when I contaced you. Give that site a try. There are many things there that can help us as women and we need other women to give us a reassuring shoulder. Barbara

insanity (Poetry) - 5/11/2006 10:58:45 PM
I agree with Connie Pamela. Most of us can relate to the pain and hiding our tears so others don't think we are weak. But we hide our tears for another reason too, and that is because we need to be strong for our children. Parker is a very cute child, and I know you are so proud of him too. As you read in Let Me Go, I can definitely relate to this pain and sadness. Thanx for sharing this with us. May the Lord Jesus bless you and Parker, and those whom you both love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie "If I have to be this girl in me, Then I have the right to be."

insanity (Poetry) - 5/11/2006 1:18:22 PM
This is a belated comment, so I hope you've taken a much needed break from it all by now. A strong rant that most of us can relate to.

A Baby Cries (Poetry) - 4/30/2006 7:57:50 PM
I guess the hardest event that can hit a young boy without a father was the time when the whole class is making a father's day card for the fathers, and the boy was left alone, not knowing what he should do. The psychological damage can be drastic. Better to let that young man knows about his father than to let him guess. A heartfelt write! Sandie May Angel a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)

Today I recall (Poetry) - 4/28/2006 7:45:09 PM
May you be blessed healing. Love and peace, Regis

How? (Poetry) - 4/28/2006 7:44:00 PM
Pamela, Someone recently gave me this "take" on love: "Love has a different tune: I love you, therefore you are free to do as you wish. My love says you cannot do any wrong in my sight. My love says you cannot hurt me for it would not wish to make you responsible for the way I feel. My love says I am here for you if you want me, or I can be gone if that is what you wish. My love does not depend on your performance to exist - it depends entirely on a choice I make, moment by moment. My love accepts that you may even come to hate me for what I am and it is strong enough not to compromise itself to please you. My love cannot be manipulated. My capacity to love is infinite and is not bound by your feelings or desires." I wish you love and peace, Regis

How? (Poetry) - 4/28/2006 2:26:26 PM
Pamela, This is a thought-provoking write and a question that I have pondered myself, many times. Abuse is not love; this much I now, but it seems that some people fall in and out of love as quickly as a springtime, pop-up shower and you wonder how that happens. At least, I wonder it. Thanks for getting everyone thinking about this. Jill

How? (Poetry) - 4/28/2006 11:45:05 AM
Good question....all I know abuse does kill love....I can vow for that!! Take care!! Love Tinka

Numbers and dates (Poetry) - 3/14/2006 2:15:04 PM
Live life to it's fullist while you have it to live This is extrodinary.. I loved all lines including ~ Don't be afaid to take just be sure that you give For in the end you only have a single life to live So live each day like tomorrow will never be Make the most of life and make it happy No one knows what may happen tomorrow For our time on this earth is borrowed

the ole porch swing (Poetry) - 12/24/2005 5:39:31 AM
This pen brought back memories of my childhood. I could still hear the creaks from the support chains and envision the sounds from the hills of Tennessee drifting into my ears. You have a Merry Christmas. The Duck

A Dream (Poetry) - 12/15/2005 4:35:20 PM

A Dream (Poetry) - 12/14/2005 4:39:28 PM
Great theme! And so sad. In RUNNING ON EMPTY, River Phoenix's girlfriend says, "All families break up." Very poignant.

A Dream (Poetry) - 12/14/2005 4:12:27 PM
Being a sibling of nine, I find that many friends are now my family. The old saying we can choose our friends... But just love every minute with your son.. I would give up everything if I can get to see my little soldier again after five long years...

The child looking for love (Poetry) - 12/9/2005 6:08:58 PM
Beautiful child Pamela and such a sad story but we see it day after day all over our country. I'm sure he will find love and acceptance with nanna and papa. He will be their pride and joy and probably have a much happier life anyway. Great job at putting it in words! Well Done! Hugs Tina

The child looking for love (Poetry) - 11/22/2005 10:52:50 AM

A mother like no other (Poetry) - 11/12/2005 7:15:25 AM
An angel so quiet that everyone called her Mouse was 'Mom' to me during a terribly critical time. She died tragically, but the legacy she left! Thank God you found your Angel. She found YOU. Just as Mouse is here with me to this day -- a very important part of who I am -- your angel Mom is with you. Bless you both. 'Pea' <3
