The Pro Se Attorney Manual: Layman Strategies In The Law (Book) - 10/22/2006 4:22:27 PM
I feel the need to opine on this particularly disturbing account of todays legal profession. This, coming from the author, a layperson (non-attorney) who, as it is blatently obvious, has no formal legal training, or any business making these rediculous assertions. This book does nothing more than provide a blueprint of disaster for someone attempting to represent themself "pro-se". ""I wish to note that in most case scenarios; what has happened is that the consumer is paying for an attorney's car, house mortgage and his extravagant lifestyle with his girlfriend; instead of receiving proper legal assistance."" I find the depiction of all attorneys, as evidenced in the aforementioned paragraph, to be the greatest example of unfounded generalizations that are motivated by leftist ideals. The fact that this book is a "required reading" by and for an apparent "institution of higher learning" leaves serious doubts as to the quality of our educational system. Thank you for your time. Some of the stories are wonderful and it shows the consumer other options when things look hopeless. The book states that any one can be a pro se attorney but that an individual must be able to understand the rules of the game in so far as the process is concerned. The basic premise is that it will make the attorney of record work harder when he understands that the consumer understands the legal process. This book is must reading for all consumers who want to understand the legal process and how it affects them. Mr. Reedom has written a very important how to manual which provides the consumer with food for thought. Arnold Bell (, a corporate employee, May 9, 2005, Must Reading For Lay People I enjoyed reading this book because it outlines things about the legal system that every lay person ought to know before they seek a lawyer and or how to handle situations when all other doors are closed.

Bro. Reedom, Happy New Year and may God bless you richly! I appreciate the fact that you share your knowledge, letting others know that there are no short cuts to anything worthwhile. We are also (my husband and I) in total agreement that too many times the system prejudged people because of their circumstance but you know, with God all things, ALL THINGS, are possible for those who have a giving heart. Congratulations to you for things you have yet to achieve. I know the Lord will be pouring out his blessings on you and everyone's lives you encounter. blessin's cynth'ya lewis reed
