Janet, This is a great piece. I understand how you feel. Some people are fake about their feelings but, others try to tell others how they really feel. Do you know how many people feel like this above but, refuse to talk about it. Lee Hartsell

AM Reverie (Poetry) - 9/3/2009 8:19:55 PM
lovely poem from a lovely soul... triggered thoughts of an old song: "Precious and few are the moments we two can share." Stay gold!

12th of Never (Poetry) - 8/24/2009 9:51:06 PM
At once raw and real, this poem reaches out from somewhere few people dare to go and takes those who dare to read and re-read it to avenues most would rather not venture. I will veer here again for yet another read. Sorry to say I haven't peered here sooner, thank you for being a faithful reader of mine and forgive me for taking so long to become one of your work. May you be able to say with and of me, good things come to those who wait. Peace now and always, punctuated by all the right type of excitement!

12th of Never (Poetry) - 8/22/2009 2:15:26 PM

Most of the time we can only work throuh it ourselves.

What Lies in Sight (Poetry) - 8/18/2009 3:03:50 PM
Neitzche was right about absolute power, and this is why there will always be the politicians on both side of the fence living on high and talking about things they will never truly understand in their bubble of self-absorbtion. Strong poem.

What Lies in Sight (Poetry) - 8/17/2009 6:58:10 AM
I took this on face value, not metaphorically. I think sometimes people tend to internalize when it is not nessary. I get reviews with a message totally different from what I meant to be seen in the work. But the image of a fake plant in the corner, made by starving children in some far away place that we never think about, does make me angry. To her/him it is just another decoration to show off at the dinner party, but in reality it is sweat, and toil, from a neverending crappy life. Metaphorically or otherwise this is great writing. Walt

What Lies in Sight (Poetry) - 8/16/2009 5:03:59 AM
Very intense look at someone, perhpaps a lover or a friend, and what you see seems to disagree with you and your own sense of priorities and love. Very emotive and strong messages between the lines. fee

What Lies in Sight (Poetry) - 8/15/2009 9:53:42 PM
Plastic people living in ivory towers never having a clue, excellent write... Be always safe, Karen
