Praising Jesus! This is glorious, lovely! I rejoice with you! You are my precious Sister, Leah, and I dearly love you - The Holy Spirit brought me to you...and I am, indeed, lifting you up! Please know, that my words are not given lightly... You are a treasure, to me. My counsel to you: FEAST ON THE WORD OF GOD, THE HOLY BIBLE> "In this, you greatly rejoice, though now - for a little while - if needed be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, [being much more precious than gold that perishes]though it is tested by [Holy} fire, may be found to praise, honor, and the revelation of Jesus CHRIST." I St. Peter 1:6-8 He is coming soon, hallelujah! genuine agape love, rhonda

Lady Regret Dances (Poetry) - 8/16/2005 5:01:17 AM
Youu . . . are . . . talking . . . about . . . me . . . again. Stop that! Wierd that you would write this poem just as I posted one that, shall we say, carries your premise a bit further. Very good stuff.

Lady Regret Dances (Poetry) - 8/16/2005 4:02:20 AM
People who live in regrets norally let Lady Regrets lead them by the nose; that is why Lady Regrets should never wins. One cannot cry over spilt milk, so one should only always move forward. You Must Submit (Poetry) - 8/15/2005 7:24:49 AM
Leah, this is a striking (no pun intended), well-crafted composition, which clearly illustrates the “reality” can and will whip one into shape, and release one from the hostile captivity of “illusions deceit.” Outstanding work. Thank you for sharing it. Take good care and be well.

You Must Submit (Poetry) - 8/15/2005 7:14:03 AM
Now this is a wonderful example of empowerment, not by mankind but by oneself as you so tantalizingly expressed. Leah you offer hope and promise in your words. Thank you. Felix

You Must Submit (Poetry) - 8/15/2005 4:15:44 AM
My name is Reality. I am your Reality. I will whip you into submission. Reality truly has a way of doing that to us, and as you say, once we accept it, we truly are free.

You Must Submit (Poetry) - 8/15/2005 4:12:45 AM
A lot of "whipping into submission" and "wands of power" and . . . er . . . is that whip you weld bloody or do you make your miserable subject like the blood away after your "sessions?" Just kidding. Just kidding. The poem freaked out the fantasy-side of my brain. LOL

You Must Submit (Poetry) - 8/14/2005 9:59:45 PM
Powerfully stated as if from deity! It is through submission that we are set free...Wisdom message poem... Eileen

Upon a Silver Platter (Poetry) - 8/11/2005 3:34:25 AM
That serves us lustful, wicked people right. Leading up on. Keeping the sexual vision prominent and milking (hehe) from us every drop of desire and then laugh in our face when the lust turns to something else again.

Upon a Silver Platter (Poetry) - 8/11/2005 2:49:20 AM
What an invitation, Leah! What a build-up... what a climax! WOW! I have a hunch that most of us reading this will be the colour of that strawberry by about line 13! And you don't disappoint - you take us allll the way there. You are a Master Chef with this fine hors d'oeuvre and keep the juices flowing. Thanks for the experience - but reckon you through it have proved that, far from happening quick, once the vital spark is kindled it's the savouring of the slow-burn that creates the most intensity! Very well done. TY Kate xx

Oppressed Steed ?? (Poetry) - 8/8/2005 7:02:07 AM
Poet, in the word in which one has chosen to venture into, very often ones being sometimes allows the awful, painful memories that many others have no concept nor could they without being on the frontlines to overwhelm one. Yet, with the love and support of ones life partner the “good memories” can easily be brought to the foreground with their unyielding guidance, and if need be “a black iron skillet” may help do the trick … lol. However, one can only lead a horse to water, but one can never make it drink from the “fountain of life.” Thank you for sharing your wonderful, thought-provoking composition. Take good care and be well.

Oppressed Steed ?? (Poetry) - 8/8/2005 5:43:50 AM

Who Can Count The Tears (a grown man cries) (Poetry) - 8/7/2005 8:05:44 AM
Leah: This poem is so good and should be read by all. I don't think it's fair to expect men not to cry, as emotions of pains and sorrows are both natural, it's as natural as the release of the flood of tears. Why shouldn't men cry? I think it is cruel to expect that of men to not releasing their tears and to hold back on their emotions. A great write, Leah! Sandie May Angel a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)

Who Can Count The Tears (a grown man cries) (Poetry) - 8/7/2005 7:44:40 AM

Who Can Count The Tears (a grown man cries) (Poetry) - 8/7/2005 7:10:13 AM
Yea a wonderful poem and great statement of how we men are brainw ashed as kids by parents, teaachers and religious leaders to be strong and aloof and never show emotions. But...even Jesus wept so why can't we. I am a man and i am not afraid to cry when I am sad, happy and sometimes even when I am angry. Great work Leah. Felix

Who Can Count The Tears (a grown man cries) (Poetry) - 8/7/2005 5:53:29 AM
Very powerfully penned, Leah, and I've learned that all human souls truly need to cry once in awhile, whether they be man, woman, or child, in the healing process you speak of.

Who Can Count The Tears (a grown man cries) (Poetry) - 8/6/2005 8:20:27 PM
"Cold, alone, and full of agony, suffering and pain" Thats me, I cry them as I no longer have my baby, she has been taken away, given by me to a young driver that will probably wreck it, already I am suffering from separation anxiety, I already miss her chrome wheels, her shiny surfaces, will excuse me, I have to go cry myself to sleep...ed

Hands that await barren but not empty Caressing tenderly the brush that is eager To capture on canvas the mysterious Enigmatic dance of that sweet illusive image. I think you've captured that illusive image extremely well, Leah - a marvelous poem and and a marvelous portrait.

So we pray one for another, and never know who prays for us.

Leah thanks for sharing this poem. Excellent work and beautiful example of how we can help even when we think we can't. So many people say,"the least we can do is pray' However, that is the best we can do, not the least, when it's done with a believing heart! Eileen

Delivered (Poetry) - 7/24/2005 7:26:11 PM
Very interesting and nicely written. I wonder why you projected evil an devils onto him, though. It could be he's sick, and with all the cuts to social services can't get the help he needs - in which case he's the innocent and his mother's heart would break for another reason.

Inspiring, I saw a guy panhandling on street corner the other day and even though he was being ignored by evryone I called him over and gave him $2 in change it was like magic all of a sudden windows started opening and people all started giving him change even held up the light to do it. GOd truly does work in mysterious ways Leah. Nice write. Felix

Facing Truth (Poetry) - 7/23/2005 6:16:36 AM
This is stark realism in poetry at best. Though sad this is happening more and more and more people need to be made aware of it.Good write and a good message to all. Felix

Awww, the poor tree, after all what a few leaves in the pool, beauty never dies, look at yourself in the mirror, you are still as beautiful as the day you first met the tree doctor, maybe he can put the tree back together...LOL! I had the feeling throughout that that twist at the end was forthcoming...;) Ed
