Dr. Veronica Donavan (Roni) has spent the last two years hunting down a serial killer she believes took the life of her little sister, Emily. When Scotland Yard closes the case, she moves to Denver where she believes he has resumed his killing spree.
As the case unfolds, more information comes to light, revealing that Roni holds the key to the whole investigation – and that she may be the killer’s intended target.
Agent Dean Colby is assigned to protect her, and he moves into her apartment and into her bed. Although neither is looking for love, they can’t deny the passion that blazes between them, and discover that love may have found them.
Just when you think the case has been solved, the author throws a curveball. The climax will leave you stunned, hoping that Roni can outsmart the killer and find true love after all.

The Third Son (Book) - 10/7/2005 1:44:31 PM
Kellson “Kells” Berkley has sworn off love. Having his heart broken once was enough, and now he’s completely devoted to business. At least until his flat mate, Bryant, brings home his new fiancée.
Cydney Nash has been given an opportunity to apprentice with one of London’s most prestigious architectural agencies and she jumps at the chance – even though it means an engagement to a man she’s known only a few weeks.
When Bryant is called out of town on business and the trip is artificially extended by a few months, sparks fly between Kells and Cydney, igniting a romantic fire that neither expected to find. As their feelings for each other start to grow, the reader can’t help but care about this couple and want them to be happy.
Just when it seems that all their dreams have come true, unexpected trouble comes to call, putting both Cydney and Kells in danger. But a romance built on a foundation of friendship is strong, and nothing can stand between them.
“The Third Son” is a fast-paced story full of romance and intrigue. The satisfying conclusion will leave the reader with a smile.

I loved this book. It was exciting from the get go. I was never much of a reader until I read Ms Vance's first book, "The Third Son" then I was hungry for more. She is Agatha Christi and Danielle Steel rolled into one.
Keep up the good work. I am hungry for more T. L. Vance.
