Immortality Lives...Embracing Poetry in a New Age (Book) - 10/7/2002 7:04:08 PM
Dena L Moore has done it again. This collection is even better then the first one. I said it before and I'll say it again she is turly a gift from the gods. If you love poetry you need to add these books to you collection. I know I have.

Fluidity of Creation: Poetry of Love, Loss, and the Occult (Book) - 10/7/2002 7:00:35 PM
The young lady is a wonderful talent and a force to be feared. The poems in this book will make you cry, think, and fill your heart with joy all at the same time. My favorite poem is "Waterfall". It is a poem about some one ending it all, but the way the poem is written you don't realize it until the last line. Just like in real life unless you know the how to read the signs you can't save anyone. I believe at this time in history the world needs a poety like Dena L Moore. She is turly a gift from the gods.

Fluidity of Creation: Poetry of Love, Loss, and the Occult (Book) - 6/9/2002 5:47:48 PM
If you enjoy poetry that is sensual and mysterious; that moves, lulls, and excites the senses; that sends you instantly into a colorful world of past glories and future possibilities, this book is exactly what you need. The writer skillfully taps into the vast unconscious and pulls out the most powerful and scintillating imagery. There are passages that send me back, like a great historical novel - into an age of romance and drama. With subtle yet deep insight, she explores sexuality, love and life in a beautiful, flowing manner. Her words convey distinct human emotion, aspiration, pain and frailty yet leave ample room for my own personal interpretation. Here is a taste... "Molten lava flows in my veins, Burning a fresh trail along my tingling nerves. You whisper my name. Stroking my soul with your ethereal voice." (It's hard to choose a passage to illustrate her talent - there are so many...) Much more than erotic poetry, this work is spiritual, transcendental and filled with compassion for humanity. Dena L Moore is a writer whose next works I'll be eagerly looking for!

Caitlin's Child (Short Story) - 6/2/2003 9:52:01 PM
Damn -- I did not know you were able to write short stories. This one is good to say the least -- have you tried writing into the horror genre some?

A Witch's Love--Chapter One (Short Story) - 5/31/2003 11:52:36 AM
Immediately engaging and fast, this is good work! But be careful with conversational anachronisms and with historical inaccuracies, artistic license will excuse such errors just so far... otherwise, this was very enjoyable and would easily be worthy of expanding into a longer, more in-depth piece! Good job!

A Witch's Love--Chapter One (Short Story) - 4/22/2003 6:30:38 AM
absolutely fantastic. i was hooked from the beginning....more, more please!!!!!!!!!

A Witch's Love--Chapter One (Short Story) - 1/13/2003 10:33:26 AM
Excellent and fast moving. I love the story and would like to read on. Nit-picks - avoid words ending in 'ly', such as 'suddenly'. Question - you describe something that sound like garters. I don't think they existed back then. Apart from that, I think everything sounds authentic. Good going.

A Witch's Love--Chapter One (Short Story) - 7/9/2002 11:49:07 AM
Very good imagery! You let the characters stand out and I hope to read some more

The Erosion of the Self in the Early Christian World (Short Story) - 6/5/2002 3:25:06 AM
this one is actually pretty good. I am going to take a look around at your website as well. There are a few blasphemous type stories on my website -- one of them blasting Blue Springs, MO, for doing the goth ban.

The Number 7, Love, and Contrasting Forces (Article) - 10/2/2007 1:48:22 AM
Fascinating article, Dena. Some years ago I discovered the words ONE through NINE can be catagorized into 3 sets according to the number of letters in each word: Set-1 (3-letters): ONE TWO SIX Set-2 (4-letters): FOUR FIVE NINE Set-3 (5-letters): THREE SEVEN EIGHT An analysis of this catagorization reveals some intriguing patterns that you might find to be of interest. You can see the details at http://hometown.aol.com/codeufo/alphatable.html Now I'm curious to know if there are any significant patterns in the Tarot cards if they were catagorized in this manner. I'm not very familiar with Tarot so this is just a wild off-the-cuff idea that may have no merit at all. Dunno. Just a passing thought. :-)

Are the Vikings that bad? (Article) - 2/17/2005 3:24:41 AM
Interesting, however it would seem you've put 1000 yrs of history into one essay, nor do you specify WHICH of the Vikings you are talking about? Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Orkney???? You do not define any period, and it is confusing.

Saturn in Relationship (Astrology) (Article) - 7/10/2003 4:09:02 PM
I agree with what you have said here..it does get excluded- because its considered an "outer" planet, but also people want to hear the "love connection" part of it- and what they fail to realize- is that a Saturn connection can quite properly have led them to their "soul" mate..which can also be karmic or important if its the 12th, 5th or 7th house placement. Thanks for an xcellent read..Donna

On Karma and Karmic Astrology (Article) - 7/10/2003 4:01:33 PM
Hi Dena..I have been studying astrology for over 20 years..I remember thinking when I was 28 that saturn was having its first return in my birthchart- and I recall thinking being foretold- I could be foreplanned, well Saturn returned - at 28degrees in Scorpio.. My father died and 2 weeks later I was told I was pregnant.. my son was born with Scorpio rising and Saturn in his first house. I love what Astrology shows us..patterns, and with karmic astrology, it shows us why so many difficult patterns are hard to break.. One other thing, I have a major trine- in water Cancer (sun, mercury) Scorpio (moon, saturn) and Pisces (Mars).. and Gemini rising 6 deg. What I am missing is fire =).. Donna
