Sense of Humor (Article) - 11/11/2011 11:06:58 AM
I couldn't live without it. I always have to throw something out there, like when I stop at a front desk to chat. Today I said this... "This is certainly my favorite time of the year- November- December- because this is the time of the year when I have to quickly…finish up last year’s holiday alcohol. Gotta make room for the new bottles." Bottom line- a lot of happy faces left in my wake. John

Dark Chocolate (Article) - 9/1/2011 1:46:58 AM
Eating chocolate somehow has health benefits like it could lower risks of heart disease. A British study released in which discovered that ingesting chocolate could reduce the chance of cardiovascular disease. Control is also believed to be of key importance, so it doesn't suggest one can eat a whole pint of chocolate guilt-free. Article discussing related subject entitled Study finds link between chocolate and lower risk of heart disease . Believe it or not, but such a good news particularly to those who loves eating it.

The Magic of Music (Article) - 3/28/2009 8:39:59 AM
I used to be in a Rock and Roll band for two years and it was a great way to reduce stress. That is until I got in a fight with the drummer and my base player quit. Then I realized what the late Bon Scott of AC/DC meant when he said: “It’s a long way to the top if you wanna Rock and Roll.” Good article Pat.

The Single Senior (Article) - 2/26/2009 10:28:55 AM
I remember Blackjack gum but Bill Haley and the Comets? Now you’re going back to the start of Rock and Roll! I do however remember seeing those old washtubs and wringers when I was a kid but that was usually in someone’s back yard. Nowadays people fill them up with dirt and use them as a planter bin. Its okay Pat you can steal that idea!

Crossword Puzzles (Article) - 2/17/2009 5:06:27 PM
My mom used to love conquering a good crossword puzzle. After my dad died and she was forced to live alone those puzzles occupied her time and gave her hours of entertainment. She would have loved this article Pat.

Laugh Yourself to Health (Article) - 1/26/2009 9:23:07 AM
Wait a minute; I have a big ego and I think I’m funny. Yet it is the times when I forget who I am and just relax and laugh that I’m at ease. Besides any funnyman knows it takes more facial muscles to frown than it does to smile.
