Thank you for spotting my error. I am dyslexic and often type in the wrong letter or number. Now I will have to figure out how to make the correction. I am almost 81 and also have the traits that Maslow defines. I see you have a great sense of humor. I appreciate that.

Maslow was truly unique. Based on what you wrote, he was the only person I ever heard of who died before he was born. ;-)
I resemble all of those 15 traits. And like it. I have often said that common sense (to do what is normal or common… in other words, what the majority would do in the same situation) is not the answer to greatness, but uncommon sense. The ability to see or do things entirely different than anyone else, and therefore break new ground.

Well said! Gratitude for all the simple things in life comes with maturity and and age, and when the simple things stop being so "simple", as it does with advancing years, one marvels at what was once considered rote and trivial. One also develops gratitute for what one has when one has experienced the loss of it - temporaray blindless can help one see things in a different light - no pun intended - when one gets the vision back. Nice piece.
