Jan, I hope you sell a million! The title is simply hilarious...awesome!...and drew my attention right away (we humour writers tend to gravitate towards such titles...lol).

Cute, very cute! Well done. I don't know why but it reminds me of Britney Spears although Chiclet is cuter and smarter. :)

Halloween and Pets: More Trick Than Treat? (Article) - 2/18/2007 9:16:26 AM
Very thoughtful ideas here. Although our cat was born in our house, and our family has always kept pets, I have learned that we cannot make them happy, and they are often in danger because of our inability to communicate with them. I have decided that it is best to keep a bird feeder with water and a bird house rather than to have pets. Then we are assured that we do not interfere or enter fear in their lives.

We have two cats. We have been implementing many of the admonitions you recommend. Of particular concern at Halloween is always our all black cat. We place both girls in our garage before the trick or treaters arrive. A very good tip you recommend is to place "Reward" on their microchips, rather than their names. That makes a lot of sense and we will do that in the future. Congratulations on your two book awards.....

It is amazing how this holiday affects pets. In the area I live black cats are not allowed for sale for a few weeks before Halloween and after. One of the worst holidays for pets is very close to and that is Christmas. Thank you for this sharing.
