This makes a wonderful point. As a child I was super shy so even doing a good deed made me nervous because it turned peoples attention to me and I hated the spotlight. When I first went into radio I was really nervous until callers began to call with kind words about a joke I told nervously. They didn't seem to notice that i void the punchline. They seemed to think that was the punchline. At that I realized that sense of humor is a good thing. I then began to make a joke of me. People love a comedian. This was an inspiring write.
