I loved the images presented, well done. Not only did I think it was beautiful, but I enjoyed that little shock at the end. You pulled it off exceedingly well. This reminds me of how the lead singer, adam duritz, from counting crows would write. good job. Charles D. The Vision (Short Story) - 3/2/2006 5:23:19 AM
A true allegory: God has given us forgiveness through faith in his son. Every other path leads to eternal suffering. Yet there are so many that will insist on taking themselves to Hell though God begs them not to go... This is a great write that illustrates this point.

The Vision (Short Story) - 3/1/2006 7:17:08 PM
WOw wickedly good, I enjoyed it. My favorite line was "she stared for housrs as if she had left her body to wonder off only to return for it later. Good Job/ Charles O'Connor

Rescue (Short Story) - 2/25/2006 5:34:27 AM
Caring for injured wild animals truly takes a most compassionate soul. And although I really love the owl picture, it's blocking a lot of your text, Val.

Live life at a leisurely pace. Never be a people pleaser, but just realise ones true priorities.. We may not all have the same money to spend, but we all have the exact amount of time in a day... We know what the wisest does... Brilliant thought lamenting poem..

Time (Poetry) - 6/27/2006 7:04:52 AM

Fantastic Val! Definitely agree! The blessing of now, is Now... we humans like distracting ourselves away from the now.. We fill them up with doings.. We should be called Human Doings, because we are usually doing something; far from simply being. Great message .. Every morning is a new beginning; an indescribable blessing for which we must give thanks and praise! Great write. Love, Suzie :-D

Angles Wings (Poetry) - 2/20/2006 1:41:42 PM
Totally gorgeous and yes!! I am a total believer! I have had a "feather-fixation" for months as mystical tokens of peace, hope and comfort. Not only do their wings brush your cheeks unawares, but they also seem to have a habit of turning up as very solid-looking people from time to time! :)) A very real connection with the realities that are both seen and unseen. TY and bless you. Kate xx

Meant to tell you in your last poem, please keep my Daddy, Don, in your prayers; he's in hospital with a fractured vertabra. Was supposed to have minimally invasive surgery, developed slight pneumonia; rescheduled, pnuemonia improving, but still not gone...perhaps tomorrow. Diabetic, 75 years old, yada yada yada. Thanks... (((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
