Seems funny how we are never prepared for life's misfortunes.... how clear everything becomes...and the thoughts "if only" haunts to endless hours, until vengeance takes over or we submissively store misfortunes forever, as "if only".

I especially liked the line... "still soft scream of its weeping heart..." for its alliteration and rhythm. A tender poem.
