Vrolok Prologue (Short Story) - 5/13/2007 5:49:04 AM
Good, living characters. Prince Vlad is a fascinating piece of history. Good work.

The House of my Childhood (Short Story) - 11/16/2006 3:56:31 PM
Being that I was reading you work for awhile now and you've published one of mine on Spinetinglers I am starting to see where you are coming into this one. You got some bad ass ideas in the genre and a hell of a delivery to boot. Your stories are the kind of stories that I would say you would make Richard Matheson proud.

The House of my Childhood (Short Story) - 8/31/2006 1:53:47 PM
I'm becoming a big fan of yours.

The Greatest Trick (Short Story) - 8/31/2006 1:43:33 PM
Wow. I don't usually read this kind of story, but it really interested me. I think I'm going to check out your book.

Cave of Cruachan (Short Story) - 8/31/2006 10:53:00 AM
I really like this story. It's a concept that I have never heard of before. I like the twist at the end. I did not see her being punished. Great story.

The House of my Childhood (Short Story) - 8/14/2006 4:25:20 PM
Okay, that was good. Nit: 4th graph, 2nd sentence: 'This not a house with happy memories'. Needs a 'This is', or a complete rewrite.

The Greatest Trick (Short Story) - 7/27/2006 11:09:33 AM
Not my usual type of story, but I read it all because it very well written. Congratulations.

Was the Mother's disliking of the painting a clue? Never was reveled. I like the story.

Review of The Forgotten Prophecy by Ray LeCara Jr (Article) - 4/27/2008 8:50:43 PM
This sounds like a great book! Mr.Lecara was my Language Arts teacher two years ago, and he always found ways to make class interesting and fun for us. I KNOW that Mr.Lecara is a good author, just like he was a great teacher. He was everyone's favorite, especially mine. I'll be sure to buy a copy :)

Review of Ibrahim (Article) - 12/20/2007 7:40:07 AM
This lady got the essence of being a writer. The review is sensitive, touching on the main areas of the conflict. The inadequacies of both Ibrahim and his mother is highlighted here. What about being Asian, brown and in a foreign country.

Review of The Righteous Men (Article) - 9/12/2006 5:38:49 PM
A spine tingling thriller!

Review of Ibrahim (Article) - 8/27/2006 7:50:13 AM
First, a mother;s love and understanding is an inspirations to a child. I'm so glad that Ibrahim's mother was a caring mother. Ibrahim still has a long way to go in life, but I think he will make it with the love from his mother showered upon him. I story well-worth the reading! Thank you for posting and sharing! Sandie May Angel a.k.a. Sandie Angel :o)

Review of The Woman in Black (Article) - 8/14/2006 4:06:53 PM
Nolene, I guess I'm going to have to set aside "Massacre in the Mountains' and go get this book.

Review of The Omen (Article) - 7/29/2006 2:38:35 AM
This movie I saw the day it came out and one thing I will say, don't go to the film if you're badly sunburned or ate too much before hand because it will end up landing in the front row dead center. This is what happened to me -- the first horror film that made me throw up.

Review of The Cell by Stephen King (Article) - 7/22/2006 7:56:06 AM
Thank you for sharing this, always been a big fan of this prolific master of the macabe, and no doubt I will eventually get to 'The Cell' but at least for now I have a clear idea of what to expect!

Vrolok (Poetry) - 8/4/2009 10:21:01 AM
Your words create a trance-like story, a tale of a Vampire, a Vrolok, a Devil, and a killer -- all the same creature, all cautionary and wise. The repetition and rhyming schemes are beautiful. You seem to have a deep connection with this sleek, exotic Vrolok. Do you speak of their insistance to enter from experience?

Vrolok (Poetry) - 6/25/2008 3:43:05 PM
Hi Nolene! I read your poem, "Vrolok" I found it drew me in like the way Boris Karloff did in those horror flicks of the sixties. Well done. Pleas feel free to visit my site here in the "Den"
