I AM AFRAID (The Affairs of my Heart) (Book) - 6/22/2006 5:08:23 PM
My book was very good therapy for me. It helped release all of my experiences of fear, and taught me how to cope with my future, no matter what it may turn out to be.It is said, that only the strong survive, and I am a survivor.

THE ONE FLAW IN WOMEN (Short Story) - 9/6/2011 6:08:46 AM
I recently got an ebook and see that there is a movie - this poem is definitely going viral - but the author is listed as unknown. I have forwarded a copy of this page to them and also sent a note to Jessica about it. The webpage is Fran

THE ONE FLAW IN WOMEN (Short Story) - 7/15/2011 8:46:22 PM
This poem was not entirely written by one person, the last half of it was the original poem, and it was written by my fiance Paul Jenkins years ago as something to help the women in a shelter that he was doing security services for. His poem only included the portions including the line women have strengths that amaze men and to the end where it says they forget their worth. I just wanted to set the records straight. I am shocked at how many people are using his poem and how many websites without his permission and without even listing his name as the author who wrote the poem itself.

END OF A FRIENDSHIP.. (Short Story) - 10/13/2007 8:27:46 PM

END OF A FRIENDSHIP.. (Short Story) - 9/29/2007 1:46:37 PM
It is for lack of those three simple words that many relationships and friendships have fallen apart and ended...I have had those friendships that a simple I am sorry would have changed much, I have also found that sometimes, especially when we are younger those words are hard to say and hard to admit our mistakes, however it seems as I have aged and matured I have come to value friendships, time, and the goodness of living with oneself and the ease that comes with saying I am sorry or I was wrong. A part of life that many have endured! Well done! Blessings, Joyce B.

QUOTES ON AGING (Poetry) - 8/3/2009 11:48:18 AM
How wonderful is your outlook on aging! I agree completely, although I would like to change some things. For instance, the number of typos I make, though I think I find and correct most of them. I told my Bill the other day "God wants us to be old; if He didn't, we would be gone already." That's kind of a consolation, don't you think? It's nice to read your words of optimism, Barbara Sue. Connie

REMEMBER ALWAYS (Poetry) - 8/3/2009 11:41:17 AM
Wise insights from an experienced mother. The second one captures my attention the most, since I have seen it worked out in the lives of my children. Sometimes we despair of ever seeing them follow good paths in life, but the values we have built into them, especially God's values, are not wasted. Connie

Oh my Barbara, this offering has touched the depths of my heart and soul! Tears sting my eyes from the powerful imagery, touching voice, and overall sincerity of the selection! This write should be read by all, those whom take our soldiers for granted, who do not see them as human beings who eat, breath, love, and feel. Profound my dear friend, lingers on one's thoughts...touching indeed! Blessings, Joyce B.

A CHILD'S HEART...... (Poetry) - 6/28/2007 8:04:41 PM
A beautiful write, very touching and gentle. A child's heart..we as parents would love to shelter and maintain the innocence within our children if we could. I always told my children to enjoy their childhood that they only had a number of years to be children and the rest of their life to be adults. Sad when we see them making this transition from child to teen and from teen to young just speeds by far to quickly for parents. Enjoyed! Blessings, Joyce B.

A CHILD'S HEART...... (Poetry) - 6/27/2007 11:39:20 AM

FAIRY TALE LOVE (Poetry) - 6/14/2007 5:54:55 PM
I wonder if fairy tale love really exists...there are great romances, that appear to be filled with fairy tale love, but in the end they usually are exposed for something much different...maybe it does...maybe it doesn't...I have a good marriage with a great man, but not a fairy tale, we both have our flaws, we have our arguments, but in the end we usually meet in the middle and times I too think about the fairy tale romances...they do make for nice day dreams...enjoyed this much! Blessings, Joyce B.

IT'S FAMILY REUNION TIME.... (Poetry) - 6/6/2007 3:39:17 PM
Nothing like a family reunion, ours will be coming up soon. I'm always thankful when we get there and everyone is accounted for. It's sad when one of our family members has passed away...I remember the last reunion we had with my mamaw there, it was she knew she wouldn't be at the next one...maybe the Lord had impressed upon her that it would be her last one...don't know, but I cherish the memories. Great write my friend! Reminded me of a wonderful memory! Blessings, Joyce B.

Life can be sooooooooo cruel, Hang in there Krystyn, He hears you. Remember these words...I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU!!! However...are you listening? Most often in my life I have found that, Obedience is better than sacrifice. GOD LOVES YOU! When you cry out to GOD, with every emotion in you, HE can't stop Himself from showering HIS LOVE UPON YOU! LIFE (Poetry) - 3/2/2007 8:32:18 PM
Sad...but cute write!!! I'm so proud of you for accepting all of these and yet think this is "Life". The fact of the matter is, we women are so versatile. We can adjust ourselves mentally and physically in any given situation. I think we women have a lot to be proud for when we age. Sometimes, the wrinkles come with experience and weathered in life which one should be proud about to own. As for the aches, take some aspirin and get rid of them. Sandie May Angel :o)

FROM HER TO HIM (Poetry) - 2/28/2007 5:07:27 PM
Love can bring out many emotions...and the real thing often allows us to see through to the inner self of our significant other, and often so interconnected that we can finish each others sentences and complete their statements for each is scary that way, but the good outweighs the dangerously! I am Thankful for (Poetry) - 11/26/2006 4:40:06 PM
Things we tend to see as toil would be viewed as treasure by those who wish they had full ability to do the things so many of us complain about. This brings out the fact that for everything, even the ability to feel pain, and hugs, and hunger that knows the feeling of being satisfied, and even tear tracks that drip against our cheeks that cloud our vision . . . we all should be thankful.
