Enchantment's Embrace (Book) - 1/21/2008 9:27:56 AM
Professional Review from Ghostwriter Literary Reviews: (as sent to Mary Dressel)
AUTHOR: Mary J. Dressel
Uriah Prescot loved his sweet Eryn in a time passed and a world to come. Twenty years of love traveled from a century and decade only to secure a future with a woman that drove him beyond lust, love and passion. Eryn Rae had a way of turning her blond beguiler inside-out with the slightest touch. But, she loved him just as much. This love took him to a place that many knew not of, that many wouldn’t begin to comprehend; and where some needed to stay, permanently. After the death of her parents, Eryn’s great-great grandfather, Emmet McDanil, did what he thought would be best for her; and it was, so he thought. But Uriah had to close the portal that took the love of his life away once before, and threatened to take her again. Dalton Vecshaw and Taylor Sterling were the threats. They were determined to destroy the man who took the only woman they loved, and using the portal, was the sure way to accomplish this.
As I read this story, I fell in love with the fantasy of time travel. Having your beau, your soul-mate love you beyond and before, makes the heart flutter in love. Time travel has a complexity in its own, and for one to totally comprehend how it all works, would be somewhat difficult. But I totally enjoyed the way the author made it happen and befitting of the story. She made me fall in love with Uriah Prescot, myself. Oh! How I loved the way he loved his sweet Eryn. The passion and spiritual connection between them sent my heart racing.

9-11 (Short Story) - 9/9/2006 8:48:34 AM
I was watching 'Today,' and the breaking news came...had to go to work, couldn't follow...when I got home, Karen and I went to church, came home, she went to bed to escape the news, and I watched...for three hours, crying, and writing the first of my poems...yes, my Gift was given that dark day, and I now say, on that day, one life was saved: Mine. Powerful, emotive reflection, very well penned.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
NEVER forget.

Expressed very well this sleepless night that we have all experienced from time to time. Tossing, turning and the restlessness that wraps around our awake being. Very well said and hope you found the sleep you longed for.....
Be safe,
Karen
