Everybody Playz Tha Fool (Book) - 10/7/2010 1:07:36 PM
Sage Sweetwater is endorsing Everybody Playz Tha Fool. This author RM Green is a researched storyteller. Her characters are well-placed and from what I've read, the action is fast-paced and taps into cultural dynamics. All my best, RM Green!

The Passion Within (Book) - 9/10/2007 4:23:55 PM
Sometimes I Cry has absolutely captured my attention, it's strange when you see that someone else in the world truly feels the exact same things that you feel, and has the same motivations to keep one focused and fighting for survival. This piece was written as if its author was reading my mind, heart and soul. Thank you for letting me know that i'm not alone in all that i face and please, keep writing.

EVERYBODY PLAYZ THA FOOL - Episode 5 (Short Story) - 10/7/2010 12:52:03 PM
I read this Episode first. This delivers a great story of suspense. Jonas is a character who can equalize a story like this. I think he's got to find a way to vindicate whoever these thugs are, but I think he's got to use his head and strategize his moves to fend off these bad dudes. What's Jonas not telling us? It leaves alot of questions as to who these bad dudes are...drug dealers? Illegal human traffickers perhaps smuggling Asians and Africans for the slave and prostitution trade...all kinds of wild things are going through my head as I read this...now I'm going to start at the beginning at episode one. There's a reason I started with the last episode first, RM. There's three things a great storyteller has to accomplish.
1. Get your character up a tree
2. Throw rocks at your character (this means give them action. If I was in a tree with someone throwing rocks at me, I'd MOVE! ACTION!)
3. Get your character down from the tree (the ending of the story built from plot and many subplots)
You've done all three just here in this one episode...good writing with ongoing action and good dialogue.

JANAE (Short Story) - 9/19/2006 8:08:41 AM
Abolutely Crazy, I can actually picture the characters in question. A virtual roller coaster ride within. Keep It Up. In the Five Heartbeats It was said"One Day you will be a great writer when you suffered more"...
Those days have come and gone. I knew you had it in you...
JANAE (Short Story) - 9/17/2006 8:42:59 PM

I just wanted to give a big 'THANK YOU!' to those who have pointed out the grammar errors in my work. I have enlisted the help of an editor and she has helped me smooth the excerpt out, and I have re-posted the edited version. It is because of my reviewers that I am producing a better quality of work, and I felt I had to let you know how much I appreciate you all.
Peace & Blessings to ALL!

JANAE (Short Story) - 9/1/2006 5:10:20 PM
This one sucked the breath right out of me Mish. It was THAT forceful. I agree with Richad that it could use a bit of fine tuning, as I could sense that it poured out of your heart like a river. But it's an amazingly intense chapter, with one heck of a big sex scene...(and no Herman involved! Fancy that!) Like every chapter thus far, I've been blown away by your insight and talent. Love you girlfriend! Shells

She Could Hear The Silence' - Part V - Sarah (Article) - 11/25/2006 5:42:37 AM
I haven't read the other installments, but you have a great storyline going here. One thing that distracted me was the use of capital letters used for emphasis. In most of the sentences, I automatically knew emphasis was meant for that particular word without the use of bold. I also noticed that you casually slipped between present and past tense throughout.
Good work. I look forward to reading much more from you.
Tami
She Could Hear The Silence' - Part V - Sarah (Article) - 8/27/2006 10:50:08 AM
Michele, I was fortunate to read this a second time and it seems to get better each reading. I also think that this is your best chapter yet. Jason was a good man and Sarah was just materialistic.....GREAT WORK MICHELE, I can't wait to by your book.

She Could Hear The Silence' - Part IV - Simone (Article) - 8/18/2006 11:13:39 AM
Wow what a shocker, looks like Reggie was on the down low. That is such a shocker and i feel so bad for Simone and her daughter, she did not deserve that after coming so far alone. truth is that one out of every three person have some sort of desease, so so scary.
Good work michele, it is really great writing. love ya Glenn

She Could Hear The Silence' - Part III - Phaedra (Article) - 8/17/2006 8:14:41 PM

I need to go back and read the other parts so I can catch on to the whole thing. Looks like a winner.
She Could Hear The Silence' - Part III - Phaedra (Article) - 8/13/2006 10:41:53 AM
Hey Girl! It's Heather. This is the best chapter yet! I forgot where I was for a moment, I was living the life of Phaedra! I am axiously awaiting your next chapter!
She Could Hear The Silence' - Part III - Phaedra (Article) - 8/13/2006 10:32:47 AM
Whats up girl? This is Les. You are such a talented woman. I really like it. I'm so gald that I'm not Mark. I could really feel the anger and pain she must have felt. keep up the good work. It will all pay off in the long run.
She Could Hear The Silence' - Part III - Phaedra (Article) - 8/11/2006 4:16:24 PM
OMG! Hand me the GUN! I'd like to shoot the bastard myself!!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again...some people don't deserve to live. If Mark has made a habit of screwing females out of more than their sexual dignity, it won't be long before one of them pulls the trigger on his sorry ass! This is a marvelous chapter! Keep them coming! WOW! One of these days, as sure as I'm sitting here typing, raving, and getting ready to re-read this piece for the THIRD TIME, this will be a movie someday. Love ya, Michelle
She Could Hear The Silence', Part II - Daphne (Article) - 8/8/2006 8:16:17 AM
Michele, It appears you have a good grammar critic - and a writing coach - so I am blessed to read and enjoy the story. Keep up the fast paced writing style. This story is moving at a good tempo and I want more.
You have definitely surprised me today. V
She Could Hear The Silence (Article) - 8/8/2006 8:02:21 AM
Michele - you are an author! Who knew?! I really could not stop reading your first chapter. It is fast moving, interesting and gripping. Congratulations. I certainly will buy your book - hot off the presses - just be sure you autograph it for me. May God continue to bless your efforts.
She Could Hear The Silence', Part II - Daphne (Article) - 8/6/2006 9:45:10 AM
Michele,
The story is one I'm sure many women can identify with. Keep up the good work! I think there might be a typo..."The Then quickly went back..." I'm not sure what you were actually trying to say.
Another thing...I would give the description of why the son is in rehab FIRST. I went back over the excerpt because I thought I had missed something. it wasn't until I read on that I learned the reason why. Minor comment--more about "writing style" than anything else.
I wish you much success in your endeavor and enjoy wholeheartedly this new "journey" that God is laying out for you.
Peace & Blessings,

She Could Hear The Silence (Article) - 8/6/2006 8:25:30 AM
From what I have read so far, "She Could Hear The Silence" is going to be an outstanding book. Michele you have really out done yourself, I want to read more. After I read the excerpts, I went and told my husband, he said that it sounds really good. I can't wait until your book is published, just to let you know I will be buying a copy of your book. Good luck!!
She Could Hear The Silence', Part II - Daphne (Article) - 8/5/2006 8:18:55 PM
All I can say about Tony is that he's in for the rudest of awakenings. What a JERK. I guess it's true that money doesn't buy happiness. It helps grease the wheels and make life more interesting sometimes, but it definitely doesn't buy happiness. I think it's time for Daphne to get into social work...donate her love and talents to someone who will appreciate them. This is a fantastic write Michele, and I LOVE the ending.
"She stares blankly at the television screen, but she sees, hears and feels nothing. The world is completely blocked out, and she could hear the silence as she sits on the silk sofa in her beautifully decorated, multi-million dollar house of hell.
It is deafening."
THAT is excellent writing at it's best my friend!!!!
Blessings and hugs, Michelle
She Could Hear The Silence (Article) - 8/1/2006 10:09:35 AM
Michele, this ROCKED. I can't wait to read the whole book. It was like an east coast version of "Waiting to Exhale" which was a most enjoyable movie, AND read. I think Daphne needs to get busy applying her riches to a 'cause' of some sort...a charity where they would not only welcome the donation, but would put it to good use. While she was writing the checks, she should volunteer her services. She needs to feel needed, and heaven knows there's plenty of need out there where she could put her talents and love to good use. Keep it up my new friend...you've got the goods! Michelle
P.S. You might want to consider a few less ! throughout the early text of the story. Most editors frown on excessive use of them. Just a suggestion.

MY PASSION WITHIN (Poetry) - 4/29/2008 9:47:23 PM
RM It is so good to read you again! It's been to long!
This poem is so powerful in the ways of divine order, and it is perfectly perceived. It isn't easy for most to understand the spiritual warfare in this way, but when we do we have the burden and must find the strength we need. Prayer is a must to keep us true!Splendid !
Love,
ET

Thank you for the comments on my work... I am actually writing this about the quandary of a relative who is still nursing a hurt over the recent marriage of one her friends to a guy she secretly had a yen for and never acted upon. My advice to her was to be happy and learn to love being free to be herself.
I think we may have all found ourselves in similar situations, especially when growing up, so you were on point, Larry! I'm sure it will work out for your daughter... these thngs always do!

Sometimes I Cry (Poetry) - 6/26/2007 4:18:41 AM
An outstanding write my friend, your words ring so true for so many...you've penned my mom's life as well! Amazing! She too raised children alone, three of us, no help from family or our dad...but she made it! The end results was much self satisfaction, a thriving business of her own, and three children whom turned out just fine! I am a married mother, grandmother, author and school teacher, my brother a retired coal miner living a comfortable life at home with his wife as their children are grown, and my sister own married and owns her own business...my mom, well we stil consider her the greates person on earth! Just as I bet your children think of you...you are truly a survivor! It will shine through your children as time goes by! Great write, enjoyed!

A very suggestive picture, don't you think? As tempting as the rhymes that accompany it. Tender words, you write. A sensuous poem, as zesty and luscious as those Valentine sweets.
