you said it - we are the all-powerful, almighty. and in my opinion, we suck the big one.
(note: by 'we' I mean 'them' - not 'us')

How'd you like to be a poet at 52? I enjoyed this, espcially since I've published a book with Lulu.com and i'm having trouble getting people to notice it, read and review it.Hang in there.

I would imagine that trying to make a living as a poet these days would be akin to scratching diamonds out of hot blacktop with bare hands. You paint a picture here that touches the heart!
Blessings ...

Nicely done. I guess that's why most "poets" become famous once they are long gone. Thank you, Jeffrey. Love and peace to you,

I love the way you captured a moment that seems to percolate to the surface of all of us in our early morning adventures of earthly reality. Hilariously real.

Barbie Dolls (Poetry) - 7/20/2007 6:49:42 PM
again amazed; i read this as allegorical, although it's entirely possible it is literal; since i teach, i unfortunately see these "dolls" all too often....they all ahve their empty socket eyes on a much bigger prize than just BEing. ..
great write.

wow; blown away by your voice, and your endearing lopsided comparison. .. i esp liked how you blended the lines, stop/start iterations and subliminal (thats). .. must endeavour to read more of you.
