White Nigger (Book) - 8/31/2012 11:05:53 PM
I think the title captures racial prejudice and a sad story. I definitely think this should be a movie. Good luck with your story and the many issues surrounding prejudice. I for one can't wait to read it!

Obviously, the title was meant to grab the attention of the prospective reader; all I felt was sadness. When I read the blurb, I decided not to read the story for its content because of the content. At a time when there is so much racial conflict in our country, is it really necessary to recall the struggles of the past? I'm sure you're a good writer - but maybe you should concentrate on a less incendiary subject. Good luck to you.

Really, is that a necessary book title? It doesn't matter the context there is no reason to be racially offensive, just to get noticed. That's absolutely disgusting.

Can we expect Black honkey on the horizon?

Jena's Choice (Book) - 8/20/2004 7:05:49 AM
I gave a copy of Jena's Choice in manuscript form to my oldest daughter - one of my readers - She has read all of my novels and she claims that this is historical is her favorite. Lois Barrow, friend from The International Edsel Club, said that Jena's Choice is the best of the three. I hope you will buy a copy and discover if they speak the truth. Beverly J Scott

Ruth Fever (Book) - 5/21/2003 11:34:37 AM
Charming, Delightful Romance! A caring school teacher, a troubled student, and a confused father are drawn together in a series of interesting events centering around the sale of a classic Edsel car. The story could be one that occurs in our neighborhood for the characters are so alive and real we identify with them immediately. At unexpected times, we are charmed by the clarity and flow of the lyrical narrative of the novel. Ruth Fever is a heartwarming story sure to hold attention to the last satisfying page! Beverly J. Scott, is a wonderful new talent! Her books are sure winners with an appeal to a wide readership. Evelyn Horan - author Jeannie, A Texas Frontier Girl, Books One-Three

If you are into the "Perfect Mystery" then RIGHTEOUS REVENGE is definately the book for you! I was hooked from the first page...YES, this book is that good! The characters are colorful and very exciting and the plot a real edge of your seat pleaser! This is one writer that doesn't disappoint her reader!

I am such a huge fan of this gifted writer! Beverly, is such a wonderful, sweet, and kind person, and a fabulous writer to boot! If you have not had a chance to read any of her books then "Ruth Fever" is the perfect book to start with. If you enjoy page turning excitment with the perfect touch of romance then you are going to love this story. The characters are entertaining, and the dialogue lively, and the plot is a real crowd pleaser to be sure! You will also find Beverly's first novel, "Righteous Revenge," a real treat to read as well! I highly recommend both of Beverly's books! (Take "10" Beverly, you've earned it!)

Righteous Revenge (Book) - 1/25/2002 12:54:03 PM
I love Beverly J. Scott's style of writing. Mysteries are my favorite genre to read, and she not only offers a great storyline, full of suspense, but great narrative. Her descriptive phraseology is perfect.

Righteous Revenge (Book) - 1/19/2002 5:53:17 PM
Beverly J. Scott has written an exciting, "nail-biting," suspenseful mystery that keeps the reader on the edge of his seat. Skillfully, the narrative moves along with identifiable and realistic characters and authentic dialog. A poetic and sensitive narrative gives readers relief between the ever grim developments within the plot. And just when the reader is ready to breathe a sigh of relief, there is an unsuspected twist to boggle his thinking. A great read, a real page turner!

A fit and proper words for those maniacs. I am a muslim too but I never agree [in fact i hate those jihadists]with those criminals. It is wrong to harm those who are innocents, no matter what the book says.

A good one! This poem expresses the truth about the terrorist. They are truly blind fools! Thank you for sharing! John Michael
