Sounds like a good balance of romance and suspense with elements of Hitchcock thrown in for good measure. A very well-written excerpt. Can't wait to read more.

A wonderful story and one that will keep the reader turning the page. When you read this book be sure to set your clock if you have to go to work, or you'll never put it down.

As usual, she did it again! Erin has a way of making her characters not just belilevable, but FULL COLOR! I can see Jake, and Kris. Even the way that she chose to spell Kris's name is unique (to me anyway). Everything about these people is real and very believable. The insecurities that Kris has and the fear that Jake has that he'll never win her back. All of these feelings are accurate and believable without being over the top! Erin has brought these characters to us and they can literally stand on their own.

Talk about a shocking cliff-hanger! You can feel the love these two share that it breaks my heart. Now I would really love to know how this hurdle will be overcome...that little minor detail of Johnny getting married to someone else.

I'm a good friend of Erin's and believe me, if you like the excerpt, wait until you read the whole book. She's an excellent writer when it comes to developing chemistry between two people!
