Art - Your poem Breathless puts forth that which makes us write poetry - The search for Truth and Wonder. - David
Breathless (Article) - 9/9/2009 1:07:56 AM
And thunder loaned the voice of the indian's drums to give the warriors a song coming from the skies.
"Breathless" sounds like Medicine Man's complaining questions to Manitou.
Well done.

"...on the other side of the looking glass..." with "...a contagious kiss as we envision us..." a peaceful introspective look, a meditation, transcending to another physical plane where memory isn't a burden.

Chant to the Sun.... (Article) - 7/27/2009 10:29:11 AM
I love the lines
'We are the Sun
We are the Moon
We are
The Atmosphere'
It reminds me that we are indeed everything and nothing is separate from anything else. If we were more in tune with our environment as the native Indians were, the world would not be in the state it is.
Great write.

But then...some men didn't worshiped the Sun, like Shoshoni Cottontail tried but his arrows burnt before reaching the Sun or Chinese archer Hou Yi that succeeded shooting eight Suns so all trees of earth could have sprouts...the Sun will forgive and still give its warm and light to ungrateful children.

Viral Infection... (Poetry) - 11/15/2009 2:02:33 PM
Sometimes I ask myself if there will be a reckoning time for the ones with dark souls, because they are the ones dying on a warmth comfortable bed when innocents are dying in the mud.
How much is worth our souls?
You are right on the money, I hope they listen...for once.

Viral Infection... (Poetry) - 11/15/2009 12:31:30 PM
Oh the world has changed, that is for sure, Amber. Art, this is a keeper for me. You laid it all out in such a beautiful, artistic way, but with TEETH! I love this. It says much. Will it change anything? No. but it says much!
Viral Infection... (Poetry) - 11/15/2009 9:03:05 AM
Art,
This is very powerful and well meaning. I know of what you speak, and sometime, some where, there will be a reckoning, and those "People" will pay the piper. Once a very long time ago, when I was a teen, I thought for sure our generation was going to change the world. well I guess I was really wearing rose colored glasses for sure!
I am so glad that you wrote this poem, it is indeed an eyeopener!
Much peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"

Layers of reasoning that are like shutters and filters on a camera... which ever way the lens focusses, the effects can be different according to the shutter-speed of the mind, the light of revelation and the particular mood in which a subject is approached. I very much enjoy these kinds of mind-matrices, Art! Well set out deck of thoughts here. Thank you, xx

The gentle swell of the cadance of the words - makes me tipsy just drinking in your incredible words. The Spanish rendition says it all with such a passion. Yo creo que tu esposa sienta con toda su corazon que tu eres todo para ella, porque tu le has ensenado y dado tu amor.
God bless you. Kathy
