It does seem it will take a miracle for the American voting public to realize that allowing the power elite to decide which politicians shall get our votes cannot bring change. Senators Obama and McCain demonstrated their trustworthiness to the power elite by voting with Bush Junior ninety percent of the time, so the the power elite promoted both candidates. Other candidates who didn't vote with Bush Junior, like Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, were ignored. Presidential candidates Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr were ignored too. And Congressman Ron Paul was ignored in his campaign against McCain for the GOP nomination. It will take a miracle before we stop voting for business as usual.
