The Chosen One (Book) - 2/23/2009 1:01:44 AM
"I honestly recommend THE CHOSEN ONE as well worth reading and look forward to further books from this author." MRS P. FULLER, Queensland, Australia. "I have read THE CHOSEN ONE and enjoyed it very much. I thought it was well written and well crafted." C.D. WEYLAND, Auckland, NZ. "Follow the author's imagination: it will take you into a world long ago when fantastic creatures existed and unbelievable events occurred. Wonderful descriptions from a skilled wordsmith." GERRY WOOLLET, East Sussex, UK. "I found THE CHOSEN ONE to be a quirky, yet readable piece. The writing is really descriptive and the reader has no problem in seeing the characters and the activities of those involved as they live, love, and laugh their way to extinction. A really good read, roll on the movie!" BRIAN OVEREND, Hawke's Bay, NZ. "THE CHOSEN ONE is a well-written novel about the life and death struggles of a group of prehistoric animals. It is an unusual mix of prehistory, fantasy, and science fiction all rolled into one. Alan J. Garner has a great sense of imagery and wordsmiths it seamlessly into a book that is hard to put down. I eagerly await a sequel." MICHAEL HOLDERNESS, Auckland, NZ. "We are served a feast of word pictures which bring life and feeling to the pages." JOHN SWINBURN, Napier, NZ. "Where THE CHOSEN ONE scores most highly is in its arrestingly novel take on evolution, intelligent design and the origins of humankind. It will be an absorbing read for anyone who fancies a clever blend of myth, science, and fantasy. DAVE BROWN, Hastings, NZ.

Chosen Too (Book) - 2/23/2009 12:25:18 AM
"Alan J. Garner's story, CHOSEN TOO, is fantastic. I love the way he mixes up facts with fiction. I can honestly say I never thought mixing prehistoric times with aliens would go well together, but it does. I liked the story a lot. I found it flowed well and once I started I couldn't stop reading. His story has extended my imagination and left me wanting to read more. Thanks for an enjoyable read!" SONIA MARTIN, Wolverhampton, UK "Once again Alan J. Garner has achieved a masterful result by weaving a great tale about the survival of prehistoric life. Rich in detail, full of life, and with spot-on characters. All mixed together with his own true style of humour. Like his first effort, CHOSEN TOO makes for a riveting story; I found it hard to put the book down. It was an absolute pleasure to read. I for one will be looking forward to his next book. Can't wait!" SIMONE OUTSHOORN, Auckland, NZ.
