i love your writing, it is my own thoughts, that you have captured in your story, I am amazed that out of no where you have entered into my life, like a bright sunny day, and will read more of what you have written, your words ring with truth, and brings your life alive.
Here I Am (Poetry) - 12/27/2006 3:22:19 PM
Though the plight of parents dumped because of kids who forget that without them they'd be nowhere is a serious one, and though well thought this pen/song is just too darn long. Fewer lyrics with stronger words would accomplish the same.

Dawna,
Very sad song indeed. Makes you think, especially at my age, if I'll ever have to go through that. I sure as hell hope not. I've seen many people in the situation you describe and it's absolute fact. Bless You for bringing out the awareness.

Whew...that sure was a time trip...your view on this thought of time reminds me of a poem I wrote awhile back and it is a puzzle this mind that grasp the thought of time and juggles it within words and thoughts...yet it is as you say only the present and how we live it as time is but a moment in comparison to the age of time...nice write...
