It's too bad that foxes got such a bad reputation––maybe from stealing farmer's chickens. And tar babies, too. No wonder young black children pick out white faces as their friends. Ron

'Tax'ing Roads (Poetry) - 2/8/2013 10:05:16 PM
In Canada they are starting to do this as well in the big city areas. All it means to me is there are a few places I will not go to now. Other countries will see me in my travels............

'Tax'ing Roads (Poetry) - 2/7/2013 10:36:26 AM

'Tax'ing Roads (Poetry) - 2/5/2013 2:59:56 PM
I don't think anything can reduce traffic congestion and such...isn't making people pay tolls taxing enough...? e

'Tax'ing Roads (Poetry) - 2/5/2013 1:04:01 PM
All of our progress has led us to our own little capsules to run around in, isolated from each other and further isolated by our smart phones and other devices as we ponder the congestion before us. Raising taxes for more roads is not the solution. I think it's time that we look at why we are so many and why we can't seem to cut back on human population. Ron

'Tax'ing Roads (Poetry) - 2/5/2013 11:08:18 AM
Get this, take that, haul there, buy more more more more more.....work more to feed the machine! Oh, my!! Love ya! Jane

Life's Wonderful (Poetry) - 1/14/2013 7:05:57 PM
You know what darlin' we sometimes get too much of what we don't want and wonder why... 'Tis okay to be blue about it from time to time we aren't robots... We have to be wading our way through the muck and mire... It's our way of dealing with life's struggles... We write, we read, we listen, we cry, we rejoice and crawl back up to where we would be needing to be.... Bless you darlin' thank you for the comment in your poem... We are behind ya! You are loved and never alone... Love and Light Lily

Life...?? (Poetry) - 1/12/2013 12:30:29 PM
Struggles are never easy... nor is it to condition the mind easily... for we are a single soul, none like another... our struggles, our love, our being, our "life" “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” ~Albert Einstein~ No matter how difficult and depressing... even if you can't see it neerja... know you are loved... hugs Love and Light Lily

A Limerick (Poetry) - 12/2/2012 7:45:56 PM
Oh if life were as simple as prime numbers... A natural number greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself. An old song (One) by Three Dog Night comes to mind. "One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do Two can be as bad as one It's the loneliest number since the number one" ... Carry on Neerja, you're doing fine. [hugs]

A Limerick (Poetry) - 12/2/2012 9:33:05 AM
Wonderful little limerick neerja but... keep the positive attitude and that within itself is healing... Hugs darlin' Love and Light Lily

A Limerick (Poetry) - 12/2/2012 9:12:25 AM

A Limerick (Poetry) - 12/2/2012 2:44:55 AM
When it comes to math, I'm hopeless. When it comes to love I am blinded.

My son, a math teacher, would explain prime numbers to me....and like you say, like life, you can't work out the rules! I love it! Love ya! Jane

For verse, not worse (Poetry) - 11/13/2012 8:01:59 AM
Complexity is exponential while our brains remain the same. How do we conquer this? Merely by simplifying and taking one thing at a time. I see no need to text. There is one time waster I can avoid. I also don't have a cell phone that is constantly in my ear. I'm still in contact with everyone I need to be, without the chit chatting. Ron
