Remembering a Friend (Article) - 5/8/2003 12:43:58 PM
Sharron I loved your heartwarming story about Carol. I understand well what you have lost by losing a friend. It doesn't matter how near or how far away they are, whether around the corner or around the globe. I know the emptiness you feel. I lost my mother in May 2001, and my brother last August. Now there is just Dad and my sister left, and so much is missing, and can't be replaced. Treasure the memories, for I have so many to treasure, and hold on to. Your stories and poems are uplifting, I love them. Love & Hugs, Joan.

From my house or car window. Ha! Once or twice in winter, when fresh snow is deep, I go out in our woods and shoot several rolls. Then I come in and back my buns up to the roaring woodfire...and call it good until May!

Fall Banquet (Poetry) - 11/25/2003 7:16:16 AM
Sharron...you are describing my backyard! Right now, as I look out the office window, my three pet crows are dining on bread crusts, the feeder is full of birds, a once "stray" cat is filling himself on freshly cooked chicken, and my pet Bambi Buck is nibbling corn and apples. I love the scenery here, as I did in your poem!

Fall Banquet (Poetry) - 11/25/2003 6:13:58 AM

What Now? (Poetry) - 11/18/2003 5:48:58 PM
Sharron, this is so wonderful, the thoughts and sentiments you have expressed here. My son is only 18, and I would HATE to think he might ever have to go to war. Why do the young always have to fight for the problems that are caused by the old? It just don't make sense. If the people who created the conflicts had to risk their lives, there would probably be no more war.

What Now? (Poetry) - 11/18/2003 5:47:50 PM
ty for this one!!! My son is a marine tuff times

This is lovely view. I like the structure of this poem. I could be wrong here - (I don't know anything about Sonnet poems) If you add another 2 lines to these 4 four-lined stanzas, will that make this a "Sonnet" poem?...Just wondering. Sandie Angel a.k.a. May Lu :o)

Beneath The Willow Tree My Room (Poetry) - 11/17/2003 4:12:24 AM

Sharron: That's gotta "bee" just about the cutest thing I've ever read. And that little bumble bee up there, he doesn't look like he could hurt a fly, let alone sting anyone. Sharron Tyrell, may the bluebird of happiness never sting you, or even fly up your nose. May this little birdie always fly right by your side, because noone is more deserving than you are to be happy. EXTREMELY glad that you're my friend, Susan Sparks
