Raising Nat-Nat (Short Story) - 6/14/2004 9:28:19 AM|
Perfect timing for this story. I'm fostering four kittens and I'm pooped! It's like chasing quads through my home in the terrible twos.

Good for you, Rose, and Hooray for Nat-Nat; so happy to hear the spunky little guy made it. I've got 5 newborns right now, but luckily, their Mom is doing all the work.
And so sorry to hear you had to leave many of your pets behind when your returned to England.

A warning to those who foster or take in stray cats or kittens (Article) - 8/7/2005 7:12:17 PM
So sorry. I foster through an animal rescue organization and early on, one doesn't know much except the babe needs love, food and shelter. Fortunately, the current agency I foster under takes excellent care of the kittens. Not so elsewhere. Not that they don't have heart, money is an issue, protocol supercedes, and this is a bumper crop season of kittens.
I'll send hugs and comfort your direction on Monday. I lost two foster babes earlier this month and understand.

There is a Chinese saying. If you want someone to be well, you've got to give the medicine where it belongs.
Bombing the innocents does not do them good. It only makes them to be cowards and foolish.

Yes...in time, the right and free will rise to the top, and these lower than snake bellies will slither back into the holes they came from.
