Where Am I? (Poetry) - 6/30/2010 2:03:18 AM
This poem definately makes one wonder if the photographer has intentionally decided to be an observer of life rather than a participant but...at the end realizes maybe it is time to move out from the shadows. fee

Where Am I? (Poetry) - 6/30/2010 1:14:08 AM

Raw (Poetry) - 3/30/2010 12:57:48 AM

Alone With My Thoughts (Poetry) - 11/23/2009 4:54:43 AM
It is always good to take a few moments alone now and then of quiet time to let our minds and hearts regroup and appreciate what is so beautiful in this world over the things that are not. Well expressed Jenn. Fee

Goodbye Reality (Poetry) - 11/19/2009 1:47:15 AM
Not only your pain but your anger at being whether involuntarily or not, deserted comes through in this write. well done and perfectly laid down. fee

Now Your Gone (Poetry) - 10/22/2009 1:50:16 PM
Jennifer, when we lose someone we care about we are left with so much self doubt and sense of "if only". The truth is that she and you were friends and you can hold to that forever as she (I have no doubt) also did. This is a wonderful way to say not goodbye but until we meet again to someone you held so fondly in your heart. hugs fee

Twenty-four and Counting (Poetry) - 9/27/2009 10:38:51 AM
Raw, real, and honest and thus very compelling, Jennifer. I appreciate where you are "coming from." Love and best wishes, Regis

Eyes Open Wide (Poetry) - 9/27/2009 3:22:18 AM
Strong and human offering of what a real love that goes wrong or perhaps was only a one sided love can feel when the reality of a breakup sets in. This is sad but also hopeful for as we step forward after such an experience we tend to keep our eys open and our hearts a little more protected. hugs fee

Twenty-four and Counting (Poetry) - 9/27/2009 3:15:07 AM
Wow 24...happy birthday and from a man double your age, I can still remember back what it was like to be that age. They (whoever "they" are)say we learn all the answers with age and experience. Guess what? "They" lie. Life is a continuous process of learning by our mistakes and love will alays be what it is...a roller coaster ride of the heart. Great poem of your true feelings Jenn, hugs fee

Choice (Poetry) - 9/25/2009 4:00:58 PM
Your heart is hung out on your sleeve in this one and I can easily relate to your words for I too have walked in similiar footsteps. Great job... hugs fee

Can It Be (Poetry) - 9/16/2009 3:21:35 PM
The reality of these lines contain the reality of the heart, love once formed is not easy to sweep under the rug no matter how easy it seems at the time, the lumps in that rug stick out for a long time to come. fee

Inside (Poetry) - 9/16/2009 3:14:24 PM
Intense and strong voice that almost screams from not only inside the heart but also with the full participation of the mind. Wow. fee

Detente (Poetry) - 7/24/2009 8:41:57 AM
Often love and romance get mired in a bog of confusion and feelings that leave only a trail of uncertainty to follow but...if it is true love than a beacon will glow from the heart to keep us on the right track. hugs Fee

Detente (Poetry) - 7/23/2009 6:06:20 PM

Goodbyes (Poetry) - 6/29/2009 2:53:15 PM
Very intense young Jenn, but to be able to say goodbye and feel sadness also means we had to know the person well, and perhaps even love them if the hurt of goodbye is strong and as the old saying goes..."it is better to have loved and lost..." Great write. hugs fee

I Think Too Much (Poetry) - 6/29/2009 2:51:10 PM
We should never worry about thinking too much, it is the absence of thought that usually leads to a persons downfall. As poet and writers it is our job to always be thinking not of just today but of yesterday and tomorrow, not just of a thing but what the thing can or cannot do, not just of beauty and joy but also of ugly and sad. We must embrace thought as you did to write this and offer it to all the world. hugs fee

Glass Box (Poetry) - 6/29/2009 2:42:20 PM
We all throughout our lifetimes feel we are trapped in this same clear but confining box. Our hearts and souls as well as our physical bodies bare to those who stop and stare. Ah but glass is fragile and breaks sooner or later and then we become free to soar...great write Jenn. hugs fee

Pen and Paper (Poetry) - 3/17/2009 4:04:39 AM
Jenn this captures so well the feelings of so many people who now find themselves meeting and falling in love long distance or maybe just cyber distant apart. For some it is a heartbreaking experience as words on a screen cannot replace the feel of hand in hand but for others...it ends up being a miracle of love that lasts forever. Well done. hugs Fee

manic (Poetry) - 12/19/2007 4:28:57 AM
When the mind leaps into the anger or depression stages it is often beyond our control as to how we react. Writing out your feelings and nightmares does often help and bipolar sufferers especially. You captured some vivid images here regardless. Fee

Simply put (Poetry) - 12/18/2007 3:39:43 PM
Wonderful capture of innocence being lost in the realm of fairy tale love, we learn to love by loving and yes sadly to often by our broken hearts. They are painful lessons Jenn but trust me love is worth it. Fee

A cry for help that I hope comes soon. Ron

Give no Take (Poetry) - 11/20/2007 3:34:31 AM
Strong feelings in this one and though the last line sums it up with "giving all I have yet not enough" it left me asking myself is she really giving all...is she smiling, laughing, savoring the waves on a beach, the falling leafs, the first snow, children...all the things that can make us complete and happy, or is she just going through the mechanics of breathing. For a short write stirs up lots of thought that is for sure. Excellant. Fee

Give no Take (Poetry) - 11/20/2007 12:35:28 AM
Short and expressive. Clearly conveyed message. I like "Life giving lemons, forgetting the sugar." "Trying to make it in a world so cold": so true. Axilea

Against The Grain (Poetry) - 11/17/2007 1:07:00 PM
The Rats Win the Race? Most people go about their lives without thinking, they just act. Others are in unhealthy relationships that they choose not to leave for fear. We are not free f we let others control us. It may mean sacrifice, but we can make it alone if we try. Ron

Against The Grain (Poetry) - 11/17/2007 12:59:49 AM

True Love (Poetry) - 10/22/2007 4:14:40 AM
Jenn this is absolutely beautiful and stunning as it grips the reader from beginning to end. The picture also draws the reader in as if I were walking along and seen you standing there and asked what you were so seriiouly thinking about and the poem was your reply. I loved this write. That being said the only suggestion I would make is to replace "your" with "you're" all the way through. You are growing every day as a writer and a romantic. Lovely write dear Jenn. hugs Fee

Like the way you put this piece together. Yes, questions, but seldom any real answers.... Be safe, Karen

Questioned (Poetry) - 10/12/2007 10:00:40 AM
Questions? The more we know, the more we question - or at least that's the way it should be. You think? Kathy

Questioned (Poetry) - 10/12/2007 5:55:16 AM
Ah the enigma of which came first the question or the answer, for with each question answered usually another question is generated...but...perhaps that is how we learn.. Fee

Writers Block (Poetry) - 8/9/2007 9:40:24 PM
It is often said, for us writers to write beyond what most call "writers block" it is necessary to write down anything at all that comes to mind...as far as I am concerned "writers block" is merely a situation where I cannot write what is in my heart but it is replaced by something I write in my mind..l.thoughts opinions etc... It seems you have created something even through this period so therefore...writers block did not block you at all. Superb work.

Writers Block (Poetry) - 8/9/2007 3:35:41 PM
Been on that block. The other night, recovering from surgery. I wrote a beautiful blues song on the floor by my bed in my mind. Two great poems followed. By morning they were gone. My page has been empty since. Ron

Writers Block (Poetry) - 8/8/2007 7:36:00 AM
Err, hummm, errr, Reviwers block I guess.. errrrr, hummmmmmmm.. Can I get back to you on this!!!

Writers Block (Poetry) - 8/8/2007 4:58:42 AM
W feared placed tat i no longer like [is there an error in this line...? it seems a little off...?] writers block sucks. but it does serve us well if we allow it. once i asked all these ppl what they did when they suffered from the inability to write and they said to write something autobiographic, to force something, to write anything [even if it was crap]. i tried those suggestions and they kinda helped but i dont think there is an answer really... i think its a vacation of the mind... i guess it works... and sometimes writing about writers block makes the whole block move so heres hoping =)

Writers Block (Poetry) - 8/8/2007 3:05:41 AM
Writer's block to me, or how I like to look at it anyway, is a temporay R & R of the imagination side of our brain. Sometimes we have to back off, relax, and re open our minds to the world and what we are not seeing so that when we do write it is natural and not forced. I think you captured that well here in this write as well. Fee

Thief (Poetry) - 7/6/2007 3:41:20 AM
I am so sorry for your loss. We have raised and loved 9 Rottweilers in the past 14 years. We lost mom and son within 48 hrs. of each other and the second son exactly one year later. Dad left us the two years before that. We had a healthy 9 month old go outside and one minute later just laid down and died. Another died from Parvo at 9 months. We now have a rescue Rottie who was severly abused, a nine month old, who is a little spit fire and my boy, A wonderful 7 yr. old. I can't tell you the pain will go away but it will age like wine, always there but softer with time. A wonderful poem you penned.
