Horse Tails by Mookie the Mustang (Book) - 8/24/2009 2:30:46 PM
Having previously read Ms Gott's book "So You Wanna be a Cowgirl", I recognized her name and checked out her line of children's horse stories--I liked "Horse Tails by Mookie the Mustang" very much as did my seven year old daughter. I will purchase "Horse Tails by Shasta" next. I hope you keep writing. Your horse knowledge is impressive and I like the way this information comes across to children and adult readers.

I bought the book for my six-year-old niece but do not know who liked it more, she or me. I found it very informative and my niece absolutely loved the illustrations. Great job Patricia, keep up the good work and I look forward to your next book.

So You Wanna Be A Cowgirl (Book) - 5/12/2009 7:27:03 AM
I took Pam Gonn's challenge about "males getting past the work 'Cowgirl" in Ms Gott's So You Wanna be a Cowgirl and I want you know that REAL men DO read cowgirl books along with all other westerns. And, I liked it very much. I used to be a wrangler and trail guide in Montana (in my much younger days) and I must say you captured the flavor of the behind-the-scenes action, adventures and fun. Great job, Ms Gott. Keep up the good writing. George

Cowgirl Days (Book) - 5/8/2009 6:23:39 AM
I just finished your book Cowgirl Days and liked it as well as your first book dealing with ladywrangler adventures. Loved the info you presented on young-horse training and mustangs. AND what a thrilling packtrip from Jackson Hole to Cody, Wyoming, over the Continental Divide in a snowstorm. HOw exciting. Keep up the great work; cowgirls and lady wranglers still have an important part in our west. I haven't read your children's horse story yet, but see it sells on Amazon along with your web site so guess that is next. Happy Trails, Pam

Cowgirl Days (Book) - 5/1/2009 4:34:19 AM
"Cowgirl Days" by Patricia Gott was as good as her first book, if not better. I loved the information on training mustangs and young horses...I have tried the "Lyon's" method of training and I agree it's very successful. I also fell in love with Dustin; and felt myself aprehensive horse pack tripping over Ptarmigan Mountain--to say nothing of being followed by a grizzly! I hope you continue to write more lady wrangler westerns.

So You Wanna Be A Cowgirl (Book) - 5/1/2009 4:29:05 AM
I too read this book and loved it. I envy the author and her exciting adventures as a lADy wrangler working with all those good-looking cowboyS!!!!! Sounds like a perfectly great life to me. The author, Patricia Gott, has the ability to make the reader believe they are with her at the ranch in all her fun and adventures. I have also read the sequel, "Cowgirl Days", and will post my review on that book. Keep writing, Patricia.

I'm a forty(ish) lady and I admire the author for showing that you're never too old to follow your dream. I enjoyed the book immensly,as would females from nine to ninety. Way to go girl!!! If males get past the title with the word "Cowgirl" in it, they will also enjoy the content. Understand there is a sequel "Cowgirl Days"--can't wait to read it.

Horse Tails by Shasta (Book) - 4/17/2009 4:44:22 AM
Great story, I don't have kids but I love horses and loved the book. The author must love horses also to keep Shasta for his whole life--good for you Ms. Gott.

Horse Tails by Shasta (Book) - 9/3/2008 7:46:03 AM
I loved writing this book in honor or a horse I owned from his birth to his death 30 years later. He was one of a kind: stubborn, wiillfull, uncooperative, playful, kind, and loved life...everyone loved him.

Cowgirl Days (Book) - 4/2/2008 12:03:43 PM
Great for anyone ages 9 through 90 who loves the west and horses. Adventure story written in an informative yet humorous manner. Enjoy.

Sounds like a great premise, Patricia. My wife is a cowgirl too. She has't quite kicked me out for a horse yet, but she's come awful close. So, in a way I know you a little bit.
