FIVE UNUSUAL STORIES (Book) - 1/26/2011 12:02:22 PM
I liked all five stories. The first two are my favorites. "Game Show", would make a very good movie or play. I liked the vivid character development and the plot twist at the end. I could not help feeling a bit emotional after reading your second story, "From PR to New York". It should be required reading for anyone studying the experience of migrants in the post WW2 era. Do not change a word of "From PR to New York"; your writing hit a high mark with this one. When you write about true events your style comes alive for me. Wonder if other readers would get the same impression.
Keep writing. I mean it, you have a wonderful talent.

I couldn't agree with you more! This is a concise and heartfelt article that I relate to on many levels, being transplanted myself in 74 at the age of nine from a Eastern european country. Though I may have wavered here and there, I am still that girl with chicken nfeathers in her hair, dancing up a storm of Hungarian rhapsodies!
