Albert and Betsy Lost on the Trail (Short Story) - 9/28/2008 10:44:21 AM|
I had to print this out in order to read it because of the lack of formatting, but it was worth it! As always, your stories have loads of action, Bo. I read it aloud to my husband, and he enjoyed it too!
The Runaway (Short Story) - 9/28/2008 10:40:20 AM
This has a great story arc and lots of action. I like the way Carlo comes to appreciate his little sister for causing his adventure in the first place, and I also liked the way he kept realizing all the things his Pa had taught him while he was on his own. It reminds me of the Little House on the Prairie television show.
Greta Goose (Short Story) - 8/12/2008 2:38:29 PM

A Tall Tale (Short Story) - 2/15/2008 3:34:30 PM
Great story featuring a child as the protagonist! You had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I laughed out loud at the ending. Looking forward to reading more of your stories!

My cup (Poetry) - 12/16/2008 10:18:08 AM
Yes, your verse is so genuine. One can start the day off forlorn without his or her favorite cup. The imperfections and fragments may be flaws to the naked eye, but they can accumulate memories both apologetic and delightful to the holder.
Alone in the Room (Poetry) - 11/27/2008 8:32:24 PM
I love being around people older than me. We can learn so much from those who have lived more and seen more than we have, and there is a wisdom in seeing that, and a foolishness to not. Bittersweet and moving poem.
Alone in the Room (Poetry) - 11/26/2008 8:55:28 PM
Bittersweet sentiments and perhaps joining the others would do a world of good as I am sure you have so much to offer...

This poem touched my heart. I used to be a cna in a nursing home so I understand what the elderly go through. Many are forgotten, lonely and alone. Thank you for your insight on the elderly.
