Identity murder (Book) - 5/25/2007 7:51:35 PM|
Wow! This starts out like the old westerns: "I dropped to one knee and fired off three quick rounds at the charging buffalo."
Sounds like a lot of modern-day action, Jean, in a hot-off-the-press new release. With a woman sleuth, this ought to generate a lot of takers in the Den.
Best of luck!
A Chilling Goodbye (Book) - 5/25/2007 7:43:21 PM
Frozen bodies are okay by me, so long as they belong to someone else.
Here where I live on the SoCal coastline, a 2-minute drive to Tijuana, Mexico, even the ice cream at 3l Flavors has trouble staying frozen.
We'll watch for your book's release, Jean. Good luck!
The Measure of Time (Short Story) - 11/9/2007 4:18:27 PM

Absolutely fabulous! Your best yet, and I just couldn't stop reading it. I think you should write a book of all your short stories. Can't wait to read the next!

OMG - so well done, Jean! This is professional quality and you would have no problem getting it published in any number of print and Web fantasy magazines. Great work!

Oh, my! Quite a surprising twist, Jean. This really took me by surprise. I thought you did a great job with your dialogue, the characters seemed very natural and real.
Awakening (Poetry) - 7/14/2007 8:19:41 AM
Deeply thought provoking, with memorable lines:
"...we shake off the layers of angry, fearful sleep
and see the sun again for the first time in years...
going back to the cave is not an option
we have seen the darkness of our sleep...."
are two that resonated within my soul. Excellent!
And welcome to Author's Den, you're among friends.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Awakening (Poetry) - 6/30/2007 9:14:26 AM
I have just read this poem, and some on your website. You are certainly gifted with words, and know how to construct them artistically. They are very thought provoking, and ooze with philosophy and wisdom, and you're an artist too! Great talent, and I wish you all the luck with your work, and the very best for the future.

What to Expect (Poetry) - 5/25/2007 7:32:48 PM
A fresh new view of things. I especially liked The Ups and Downs, laughing aloud as I read, nodding with the revealed truth, "as gods often do." (You'll notice the small "g.")
This is my first visit with you, Jean. It will not be my last.
I invite you to visit my den. I offer a cup of coffee, a walk in my garden, a lovely rose, and a kiss, all yours if you but "Be Still and Hear My Voice." Linger a while and enjoy a little mood music, as you will.
Peace and love,
