Miracle, the novel (Book) - 4/9/2008 2:01:26 PM
Sound like its going to ammount to a lovely story. Thank God I don't feel I have to jump off a cliff to get God's atention. But that's one hell of a story grabber. If I had the book in front of me I'd finish it tonight. Does she eventually fall for him but then at the end when he has to leave, he tells her he is divine providence and that no, motals and God's don't mix, yet although she is sad he faith has been renewed enough to go on. Or maybe he falls even harder for her and Gabriel is somehow happy for them both and they do a kind of pact so that he can stay on for a while but he wants to be human full time and has to give up his divine status for that. Oh the lengths we would walk for love.

More Time and Tax Dollars Wasted (Article) - 7/31/2007 9:09:17 AM
Mr. Bushman, I agree that the U.S. should stay out of other country's business and that includes Iraq. "I suggest the House of Representatives rise up and do some real work on behalf of all Americans for a change." What about Homeland Security, doesn't that count? Does ethics count for anything?;_ylt=AvctD3Kaxi4LmbTi6AG3H275R9AF Inform yourself about the work of the Democratic-led Congress here: Regards, Joseph*

Congress--GO HOME (Article) - 7/30/2007 7:27:11 AM
What you are saying here is that it is not worthwhile for the Congress to address the flagrant violations of the U.S. Constitution by the Bush administration. What could be more important than that? Are you speaking of domestic policy? Then you must know that the Republican-led Congress failed to pass a single domestic spending bill in all of their final year, except for so-called Homeland Security. The so-called war in Iraq is nothing more than an opportunity for Bush & Cheney and all their corporate and oil buddies to become nauseatingly rich. Wake up! The Democrats are only beginning to clean up all the Bushit! Finally, politicians with some balls!

Congress--GO HOME (Article) - 7/29/2007 8:37:57 PM
I personally find it hard to view our country today with little more than contempt. The only care is for how rich a few of us can get. That's it. Period. Thanks for sharing this.

The comment ABC News doesn't want you to read (Article) - 6/8/2007 7:08:45 PM
Hold up, you want to deny the very Congresspeople who rule our country, a raise? That sounds like something a Communist would say. Are you a Communist? And why are you jumping all over those poor, put upon oil companies? Why would they lie and say there were issues with their refineries if there weren't? They said the same thing about the electric power plants in California.. oh wait, they were convicted of cutting output to raise prices there. But that was because of all the anti business liberals in California's court system. And the media. If you're proposing that oil companies be forced to substantiate their show stopper oil refinery problems, that's tantamount to theft. Do you realize the damage that would be done to corporate execs' stock options if they couldn't shut down refineries and raise gas prices? This utterly reeks of anti capitalism, perhaps even confiscationalism. I'm glad corporations are allowed to lie, cheat and exploit the market. It means that rich people get richer. Now that's not a bad thing unless you hate the rich, and if you hate the rich then it's probably because you are poor and poor people lack the credibility to discuss this. If they had the credibility to talk about this issue, they wouldn't be poor. Right? Mandating honesty and accountability leads to Government regulations, which leads to Communism. Let's not go there. Signed, ...someone not nearly as good as Jonathan Swift, but hey, I try!
