The Divorced Parent's Challenge: Eight lessons to teach love & forgiveness (Book) - 5/26/2007 8:22:26 AM
For many years my mantra has been, "Family Comes First."
But when the family gets fractured by divorce, the children of that family are the biggest victims and the real losers.
As adults, we face many challenges as a divorced parent. "Moving right" is a great expression, Cheryl, for doing the right thing.
And my experience has been that most divorced parents are confused and in their hearts don't really know what is the right thing.
But the highest priority of all comes in putting the children's interests first. They are defenseless to an attack on their security, an attack that can scar them for years and affect them for their entire lives.
Cheryl, I believe your book is a great resource book for parents facing "The Divorced Parent's Challenge."
Divorce is the "jerk" of a lifetime. Your book will help greatly.
