Wow, you are full of suprises, Girl. I DID NOT KNOW YOU WROTE IN ITALIAN. I wish my Father were still alive to translate for me. All of my Italian left after he died. I loved the first part of your story. Even with the Italian in there it was so easy to follow. Great work as always, Lovely Lady.
GOD BLESS YOU, and much LOVE

Hummmn! That wolf does get around, and get involved with some very important people...what are his motives? I believe you both make an interesting team, however, I am not crazy about the huge line spacing here and there.

JOSEPHINE (Part Two) (Short Story) - 3/2/2009 4:03:32 PM
Viv (Amber) You have such a way with words, your lines and characters capture the attention of the reader, as we keep on reading and continue knowing, what is NEXT! I love crime movies, cuz I feel that edge of the seat feeling and wanting to know ~
YOur story filled in much from last year and a new excitement coming forward...Love your easy writing flow and how you keep the story filled with such imagery! Amazing WRITER you are! A story for the pages of a book, very soon coming... Psst...I watch those Ghost movies, and yes, Spirits do re-enact their murders over and over... wanting to be healed and cleared to go on. I love how you made Thomas and "US" think! I believe in SAGE-Smudging myself to rid rooms and homes of BAD/Negative energy, with a window cracked open for the negative to LEAVE for Good! I can't wait to know MORE! GREAT thoughts you have, sounds so familiar, which means too REAL!
Pss..Josephine wants her murder known, all truths, I think the killer has NO MEMORY of what he did and why, and I "feel" it was horrendous with good reasons ( to him not to her and her husband Thomas) is involved for some reason...WE shall see
I am staying tuned/intuned! :)
Much love, Light and Blessings, Warrior Purple Lady SHEExooo
JOSEPHINE (Part Two) (Short Story) - 3/2/2009 5:46:54 AM
Now...that's a rotten way to treat your readers, first you hang us in 2008 and when we had recuperated...WHAM! ! ! here's come another cliffhanger, if I was near you I would spanked you a little. :-)
Very good written, and to give it more authenticity we can add about that woman that needed to relocate to Texas after been raped again and again by some force that one University thought of caught with liquid nitrogen.
There is more between earth and sky than they will admit.
PS. come with the next chapter...and make it quickly! ! !

Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/9/2013 9:24:01 AM
So beautifully written and expressed, Amber; truly felt. An exhilarating and clarion capture. Yes indeed; companionable silences can be golden but can also become dulled and deafened with confusion and emotional static if they cease to be actively maintained. One of your recent bests: a bit of Nonni Nurture goes a long way! :) xx
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/9/2013 8:17:37 AM
I'm going to make sure that my kinetic energy is not toxic when it's released! ;-)
There, I got that out and it is no longer frozen in my throat and stuck to my tongue.
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/9/2013 8:02:07 AM
Beautifully done, V the words flow so poetic and say much in that silence
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/9/2013 4:10:35 AM

Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/9/2013 3:56:14 AM
silence might by be golden for children, words mature with age
with holding them at times are painful, released at the proper moment
can be blissful to the ears in passionate encounters....
Love & Peace be with you
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/8/2013 9:08:04 PM
some words are spoken so that only special hearts can hear ... their silence is golden, their passion can metamorphose the soul ... luv how you poem heats up my thoughts ....
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/8/2013 6:56:38 PM
Silence is not golden,
it tears away at your soul,
rendering you cold and alone.
I can relate to what you have expressed through your verses here, Amber. Thank you for sharing. Love and best wishes,
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/8/2013 12:57:29 PM
Yes, a poem with a good point.
Silence can be deadly and cold.
It can tear at the heart and wound the soul.
Well done Amber!
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/8/2013 12:02:50 PM
So true.....very true. I felt the passion in this piece, truly from the heart.
"Silence is not golden,
it tears away at your soul,
rendering you cold and alone."
Kinetic Energy of Passion (Poetry) - 12/8/2013 11:50:34 AM
Many times the words are there but the will to utter them are not. You gave this poem a very personal feeling. That's a good thing.

Stardust Memories (Poetry) - 11/19/2013 1:12:11 PM
Yes, and still waters run deep someone wrote once upon a time, and it been borne out to be a true statement. I spent a lot of time reflecting about things gone by, and there is nothing wrong with that, but sometimes the anguish of those days is hard to deal with. I like to look forward as much as I can. I'm happy to see that you are back . . .

God Bless You,
Wonder Of The Moon (Poetry) - 9/28/2013 10:14:21 AM
I have never experienced a moon drop, but that I don't have the word “moon” in my name either. ;-)
Wonder Of The Moon (Poetry) - 9/28/2013 6:03:58 AM
The moon is the moon is the moon is the . . . And poets revel in it. Don't think I've ever seen a poem about the sun. I'm sure they are out there, I've just never seen one.
Wonder Of The Moon (Poetry) - 9/28/2013 5:21:19 AM
All us poets try to capture the moon.
But how easily...it captures us.
I love the surprise when I'm so early on my way to work and suddenly I'm headed right for a full moon.
Or I think someone is shining a light in our window...and again- the moon is just there.
Harvest Moon in September (Poetry) - 9/27/2013 5:15:15 PM

Harvest Moon in September (Poetry) - 9/19/2013 12:30:59 PM
I am a moon child being born in July and it seems I am most sensitive to my surroundings when the full moon blooms and looms large
Harvest Moon in September (Poetry) - 9/19/2013 10:30:01 AM
Thank you for reminding us of the power of the moon. The moon is part of our being, part of our life cycle, deeply embedded in the menstrual cycle and other cycles of our lives. The harvest moon is especially important because it is a time when we are working hard to brace against the coming winter and find a well lit night to our benefit––to our energy.
Harvest Moon in September (Poetry) - 9/19/2013 3:08:06 AM
Both of us always seem to post Full Moon poems - these Full Moons truly do inspire.
Harvest Moon in September (Poetry) - 9/18/2013 11:02:57 AM
Nature has it's own miracles. Energies have both positive and negative applications, some hearts open and some hearts close. Many things change a life, but none more than the person themselves. Your work is always a positive view.
Stay well and keep writing

Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/16/2013 6:20:29 PM
So many phases and cycles in life we all may go through and they each have their light at the end. You sound kind of excited to get back to the grind again.
Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/15/2013 9:53:50 AM
Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/13/2013 6:03:20 AM
Ed is right, for many of us, the long dark tunnel seems like it would never end, but it has, for me, twice.
You work sounds very interesting… Nothing like the long dark frustrating tunnel you describe… Unless you are hoping for retirement to get away from it.
Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/13/2013 4:55:05 AM
A metaphor that never wears itself out
when told with style and grace. Well done.

Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/12/2013 4:39:40 PM

Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/12/2013 3:58:17 PM
your words tell us of hope
Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/12/2013 12:35:38 PM
The only hope one has is to make the right decisions in life, putting your hopes in anything else or any one else is a pipe dream. But ever give up on your quest.
Stay well and keep writing
Hope Is Lightness (Poetry) - 9/12/2013 12:08:45 PM
Eh, I have to say, Amber, I've had that light fade out and disappear more times that one. It's a good thing I was good at working in the dark.

I'm not into astrology but I certainly agree with the beauty and purpose of your thoughts in this poem. The moon can be the most beautiful thing in the sky and affects us in ways we can't comprehend.
Full Moon/Blue Moon In Aquarius (Poetry) - 8/22/2013 3:00:00 PM

I am an Aries, and although I don't get into the Horoscope, I can still applaud your poem. Especially the end . . .
Attraction (Poetry) - 8/18/2013 8:20:40 AM
Action speaks louder than words. While we are full of thoughts, dreams, promises, and fears, we all have the need to be loved. It is a primal drive that allows us to create the next generation. Natural selection has us being attracted often to opposites because it strengthens our genes. I know this sounds so scientific, but it is the very thing that makes love and lust so powerful, so uncontrollable, and so lovely.
Jerry is right. When the spark hits us like a bolt out of the blue, it's best to act and not question why or fear the outcome. However it turns out, it will be a glorious memory, regardless.
Attraction (Poetry) - 8/18/2013 2:57:11 AM
Absolutely! Act on it is the only way. The chance to find the love we all seek and want is undeniable. Go for it.

I find this poem emotionally and meaningfully engaging; and I can relate to the feelings expressed. Thank you, Amber. Love and best wishes,
Blue (Poetry) - 8/16/2013 12:00:35 PM
Well written piece, Amber V It is a bit depressing to take a break from something we truly love...I know that too well
Blue (Poetry) - 8/14/2013 12:23:06 PM
Times like this come and hopefully go. Heart touching and well penned Amber.

Blue (Poetry) - 8/5/2013 8:54:04 AM
Sometimes we all come to a point in our lives when we have a break.
Intended or unintended, it is a time we should use to begin anew.
I enjoyed this Amber, a bit cryptic but good none the less.
Blue (Poetry) - 8/5/2013 8:38:15 AM
A nice Blue poetic song...
God bless you...
Peace be with you...
Blue (Poetry) - 8/5/2013 5:58:00 AM
Something many can relate to. Wishing I was sitting by the ocean now where the waves are always a comfort.
Blue (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 7:04:41 PM
I think all of us get that way every once in a while...like Morgan said the show must go on.
Seduced (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 4:00:39 PM

To Be Or Not To Be (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 3:54:32 PM
Well no matter how dark the night or the day I know heaven is my eternal home with Jesus forever
Like You Really Mean It (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 3:43:08 PM
If It was meant to be it would be done so delicately
if it was meant for your bed it would be more than words in your head
If it were at your place we would be lovers face to face
but we know how the story does go so we will treasure poetry for our soul
for Love with me is intense, wild and with dark desire
imagination behind closed doors is a strange fire
In total control is what I like to be
Its how I really mean it with poetry
Love Thief (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 3:35:40 PM
you deserve to be loved and held tight and to have someone wake up next to you for the rest of his life-lovely poem
Blue (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 3:34:29 PM
Ms. Moonstone, I feel the blue moving right into grey and truly believe that there are brighter days( that would be tomorrow in particular as the rest of the week is rain). Also, I think when your refused cracked pepper on your cream sauce and a suggestion that you're legs would be broken if said pepper was provided would make me blue too ;). Ahhhh, boy, there's always another show. .....and it must go on!!!!!!!!! ~ Morgan
Blue (Poetry) - 8/4/2013 3:33:38 PM
but its a good kind of Blueness as its a chance for you to re-charge your batteries so to speak--to relax-to think even more creatively and to find that in the midst of being Blue more talent will flow--as I have learned so often -a coal is formed under great pressure soon becomes a Diamond and its often in times of darkness that our best creative talents can emerge--as for me I will return when things are better for me--at least you and a few others have my real email address so you will not lose me so I hope soon the blue will be gone and more-shall I say it--" RED " appear(with apologies to Taylor Swift-LOL)
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 8/2/2013 10:50:57 PM
Beautifully gently composed
The solar heat ,natures cool refreshment , absolutely brilliant, Amber dear, just carry on
Soothing Me Calm (Poetry) - 7/27/2013 6:48:53 PM
Very Nicely said. I love the beach, and like you, it soothes my thoughts!
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/25/2013 2:38:32 PM
We do much to escape the heat and it often leads us down a path of memories when the rain would come to wash away those uncertainties and the seemingly endless heat. Your write will make that day that the rains come that much more welcome.
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/24/2013 8:23:21 AM
It has been incredibly hot here too, dear Amber... but there is more then one interpretation to this poem. Those corridors in your mind, that thirst, could be a longing for many things, maybe of spiritual nature.
It makes me like rain, but not for too long, as I live in a country with an endless, rainy winter!
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/21/2013 9:33:46 AM
I am with you on this, heat lightning, no rain yet!
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/20/2013 5:26:38 PM
Not to worry the rain will come and it will be glorious when it happens. Good write.
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/18/2013 5:39:30 AM
It seems to rain when we do not want it and when we do ask for
it will not come.
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/16/2013 5:54:30 PM
Lovely poem. Step into my world for a day or two. We've had enough rain to refresh your soul for days on end. Keep the faith; it will come in due time.
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/16/2013 7:50:25 AM
At least the heat reminds you of something good. What your poem reminds me of is an old song: “All day I face, a barren waste… without a trace… of water. Cool, clear, water.”
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/16/2013 3:00:34 AM
Absolutely beautifully composed
you always render onto your readers
what they expect of your poetic thoughts
love and peace be with you
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/15/2013 9:12:49 PM

Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/15/2013 4:24:30 PM

Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/15/2013 7:08:08 AM
Nicely done, Amber...it's been really hot and dry here for the past 2 weeks...wouldn't mind a few raindrops right about now...
Let Me Hear The Rain (Poetry) - 7/15/2013 6:41:06 AM
Maybe you should relocate to the swamp where I reside, Amber. We get at least one shower, sometimes hard rain daily, usually in the afternoon. If you can't relocate, then I'm hoping you get some of the wet stuff s-o-o-n . . .
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/30/2013 12:25:49 PM
YES!!!! thank you! It felt like there were three nights of full moons.....it had to have been beautiful on the water.
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/28/2013 10:55:12 AM

Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/26/2013 4:24:12 AM

Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/24/2013 8:38:33 AM
Damn it! It was socked in cloudy here last night and we missed it!!! But I sure enjoyed your rendition of what it must have been like to let the super moon in...nicely done, Amber.
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 3:44:23 PM
I am reminded of Cat Stevens's old song: Moonshadow... obviously you know of this song... Then of course there is the old CCR hit, which you allude to, but I don't "foresee terrible trouble" tonight, and I am of your mind to let the energy of this spectacular heavenly body suffuse us and liberate us as we await the opportunities that lie ahead with the ushering in of the new moon in a few days to come. As I wait for that supermoon to come into view tonight, I'll be thinking of your poem and the "wealth of the moon's magic!"
Be at peace amid the "weariness, the fever and the fret"...
Thanks for a great read!
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 12:56:44 PM
I did sit on a mountain last night and soaked it all up...beautiful entrance to the cancer water energies rolling upon us. I enjoyed your Super Moon expression here, glad I popped in today.
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 7:46:29 AM
I feel your energy on this one
you wrote about it
I caught it in my hands
Love & Peace be with you
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 7:09:33 AM
The moon has a powerful influence on us, as shown by the menstrual cycle. We all feel a little bit more alive when the moon is full. However, I don't think this, “super” moon is any different from any inferior full moon. Nice hype though.
I asked my partner to photograph this wonderful moon last night. Unfortunately, it hadn't risen before we went to bed. We slept and I plum forgot to ask her to take the picture in the middle of the night. Thanks for reminding me to try to catch it tonight.
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 2:54:46 AM
A beautiful poem to draw in the energy through
your verses. Nature's lightness of positive beams.
Lady Mary Ann
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 1:48:36 AM

Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/23/2013 1:21:36 AM
There's a lot of strong energy in your words.
Thanks for the jolt.
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/22/2013 5:20:00 PM
I never thought the moon gave me any direction or energy whatsoever. Nothing against this so-called Super Moon, but moons to me are just pretty, and romantic, and . . .
Stardust Dreams (Poetry) - 6/22/2013 4:59:30 PM
Deeply meaningful and compelling; your verses awaken thoughts and emotions, Amber. Love and best wishes to you,
Super Moon June 23, 2013 (Poetry) - 6/22/2013 4:56:32 PM
I bask and hope in the energy of the moon that you describe through your verses, Amber. Thank you. Love and best wishes,
Stardust Clues (Poetry) - 6/22/2013 12:04:47 PM
Milky way dreams,
opening doors to unknown paths,
winding rivers of silky ribbons,
reaching beyond comfort zones.
Love this posture of 'looking beyond', Amber, whilst yet embracing and standing strong in each moment as it occurs. I was blessed with such a time yesterday evening at sunset on my favourite beach when, whilst savouring the moment, the whole of time and place, memory and mystery seemed to collapse into itself in a significant and symbolic timeless instant it seemed to me. Do hope you manage a good view of the Super Moon this evening. We have cloud here at the time it should appear at its biggest and closest to the horizon, but hopefully you will have clear skies and a wonderful chance to enjoy it. xx
Stardust Clues (Poetry) - 6/18/2013 4:27:54 AM

Stardust Clues (Poetry) - 6/15/2013 9:09:51 AM
There are times when we should remember from whence we come, throw off our trappings and wonder in the stars of our birth. Your poem takes us from our anchors on earth and expands our perception.
Stardust Clues (Poetry) - 6/15/2013 5:26:15 AM
Another great mystical journey to the outer perimeters of the mind. Mysterically mystical! Thanks Amber!

Stardust Clues (Poetry) - 6/14/2013 7:40:52 PM
Each stanza is a clue (for me) that must be mulled over, digested or tucked beneath the tongue and saved for later reconsideration. But never spit out.
Stardust Clues (Poetry) - 6/14/2013 5:12:34 PM
Mystically engaging, love is all! Thank you for sharing, Amber. Love and best wishes,

Heat (Poetry) - 6/2/2013 7:09:12 AM
I'm concluding that women feel the heat more than men. Personally, I'd rather endure Houston summers to the cold of New England winters.
Love that last line. Nothing like another warm body to heat things up.

beautiful!!!! BTW were missing a moon poem I think.
Inner Beauty (Poetry) - 4/22/2013 2:23:40 PM
Dear Amber, What beautiful thoughts! Beauty is in our heart and not everyone can see it. This is why flowers start blooming at night, so no one can see their development, just like a woman who does not want to bee seen when she is not ready. Love, Emile
Inner Beauty (Poetry) - 4/22/2013 5:34:15 AM
Well said, Amber...so many can't see beyond that image in the mirror...imagine if everyone could...cosmetic companies would soon go bankrupt! Very nicely penned!

Our inner beauty is seen in our outer aura :)
even if not visually seen by others, most definitely
felt by others their waves...
You are beautiful
Love and Light
Inner Beauty (Poetry) - 4/21/2013 6:51:31 AM
A person's "inner" beauty has direct contact with a person's "outward" beauty, Amber. If we, ourselves, recognize our own inner beauty it gives our outward beauty a glow which wasn't there before. It gives it meaning. Nice poem.
Love Thief (Poetry) - 4/15/2013 8:41:41 AM
I'm pretty sure the "love thief" came by here about five months ago. I have no idea why but it's left me rather "out of sorts." Love and best wishes to you, Amber.
Love Thief (Poetry) - 4/12/2013 9:38:51 AM

Love Thief (Poetry) - 4/11/2013 11:34:48 AM
I have always had love find me...and I wasn't looking for it. Don't give up, love is all around you, Amber !
Love Thief (Poetry) - 4/11/2013 6:21:06 AM
Love, like any other muscle, needs to be exercised to be fulfilled. Lack of effect size can lead to it being pilfered away by the love thief.
Here, let me exercise that. ;-)
Love Thief (Poetry) - 4/11/2013 5:40:41 AM

A Message from Father Spirit (Poetry) - 3/31/2013 6:22:03 AM
In the time of your father's father, I'm sure this happened just that you have told us today. It is a sad commentary on how Americans treated their own people.

Heartful (Poetry) - 3/25/2013 8:05:57 AM
Congrats on your 800th! I've got a long way to go to get there at one poem a week.
Interesting mix of metaphors both the simple heart, both in brain and body, the same, but different, muscle, and reason, all wrapped up into one emotion.
